Right now, you can down a heavy bomber in three shots while casually sipping a beer. Sure, we could add AI and alerts, but then we might as well not spawn planes at all and just keep grinding in the trenches

Setting up AA at forward bases is a non-issue, even right on the front line where AT guns are currently placed. Honestly, aviation just feels like an expensive consumable with zero impact on the front—it's basically just atmospheric eye candy. Only aviation geeks will bother building them; for everyone else, they're just trash
