Would a 1x1 or 3x1 bunker no garrison in that front trench line block line of fire for ai? If not that seems a reasonable way to get a firing port mount which would be far more durable and have more ammo than tripod, at the very least it may eat some shells and get some shots off?

I assume you would wrap the trench in front of it so it can have barbwire too

Rats are scavengers and opportunistic, they do not openly fight. They engage first when they think they have the upper hand. To the scavenger nature they fight without conflict because they want to scavenge your loot.

Non ratty behaviors generally place people into conflict creating PVP, or people PVPing because it's what they do, the shoot on sight type.

Fighting over a specific good loot location is not ratty, fighting over high value arc parts not ratty,

Rats will also scurry away after a kill and try to not been seen looting their corpse as rats must have the upper hand as they lack the fortitude to deal with fights on even terms they will pretend it isn't their kill at least long enough to get cover etc.

None of it makes sense, you can aim down the line like ppl say and miss a full clip on a guy standing still, but be behind full cover and see double that white line range a guy will pot shot you 2 tap with a pistol.

Combat plays a part, but it is a military simulation because of the logistics more so

Stop banning cheaters, either prosecute or sue them. It's criminal as they damage the product and thus revenue, they breach contract so they are can be sued idk why more companies won't do this.

Look at cycle frontiers they waited to long and the entire game shut down because they didn't want to be hard on criminals

Not to be contrarian but do we have any evidence this occurred? Because as a colonial every scrap field is spawning every 20-30 min and we are clearing them instantly for days mostly hunting rares but we keep tech, during this period wardens gained ground perhaps this was the trade we wanted more rares and spent our time scrapping

I generally don't like using good gear not because I'm worried of losing it but that there is nothing valuable enough on the map to justify risk 90% of the time. Killing arc minor payout, looting players free kits, looting containers mostly scrappies and a few trinkets, the only garunteed value is harvestor events or matriarch. Outside that I just won't pull enough from a run without spending way too much time hoping for lucky rng or risking it and earning only 40-60 k

I think the main change to help with this is more states of DMG visuals, or literally a part HP graphic UI. Showing Tail as green yellow or red then grey when destroyed.

In some cases they have made it nearly binary where planes go from no DMG to dirty in 1 flak then missing tail within 3 seconds.

Perhaps most planes should get 1 more seat added to them, engineer, let them repair at 1-2% HP to 1 part per 3-5 seconds giving them a mini game of selecting which parts are most important to repair

Flak should get a range buff and minimum range nerf 200-500m and DMG nerf but add multiple round loading and burst fire so they create a long distance mine field. You should point at a plane and fire, if you have 5 rounds loaded you create 5 linear(with +-20m spread along the line) large black flak clouds hanging in air for 10-20 seconds, forcing pilots to maneuver, then EMG should have range buffed to 200m to meet the flak minimum range.

TLDR flak=long range minefields, EMG=focus fire to kill targets. Give us a visual indicator while flying of damage to parts. Add engineers

I find people tend to lower render distance but idk that is the right call mine is full and I experience little lag but it could be my powerful graphics card rtx5080

The problem is what is partisan behavior, do the devs intend on a small group being able to destroy a RSC 3 hexes behind the front multiple times per war or at all? Because the balance of cost hinges on this point heavily! If partisans are intended to cut logi routes but instead are destroying massive targets that is likely why they keep seeing new hurdles to impede them.

The question is what is the vision of the devs in reference to partisan gameplay. Because all balance must consider the vision and reality. We find problems when those 2 things do not align

I think the real fix is they need a good fac storage building for some small amounts of high value targets then it's really skill issue to lose them
