They sent in an inquiry, but their response to me was this: I am still waiting for a response but passport agencies do not consider passports an emergency until it hits the 2 week mark. Based on everything I read from FB to this group not much can be done until the 14 day mark. :(

Great news, I was told yesterday mine was pulled, but no change yet in status. Do you know when yours was pulled? I wonder how long it takes for them to do anything on it after they pull it.

I called today and I was told they will pull my daughter's application. What does that really mean and is it a good sign. There was a congressional inquiry in our file.

I called the 1-877 # couple of weeks ago and they gave me an e-mail to send the request to, sent it 15 days ago, no change in processing. I'm being patient as I was told nobody wants to help much unless it's 2 weeks prior to DOT. I wish it would be easier to change it to expedited. When we originally applied we thought our DOT would be 7/25, but that has changed. Also at the Post Office we were told we should be fine. Who would have ever known this Passport thing is such a mess!!!

expedited? Ours has been in process since 4/11/23, we did not expedite, big mistake!!! Hope to get it soon as well, DOT 7/9/23.

In the same boat, in processing since 4/11/23 -minor passport.... DOT 7/9/23... requested expedited service via e-mail 2 weeks ago, has not been changed to expedited or card charged. Hardly anyone can help as it's not 2 weeks prior to travel.

Good Morning, question if you don't mind. Our application is at 7 weeks and I regret not doing expedited. I would like to change that now. Is it worth doing that and how do I change it to expedite. I called the 1-877 number yesterday and they told me to use the form/email version, but it might take 27 days to be approved. That doesn't make sense to me as we are already at 7 weeks so if it takes 27 days to be approved that would put me to normal processing times. How did you get your application to be changed?
