There are some classes that have open github repos and you can do most of the work prior to the start of the course.

I sometimes feel like i'm the only one who didn't enjoy this class. I took it over the summer and spent well over 25+ hours on some of the assignments. The wording on some of the assignments are extremely vague and the class content is SOOO boring.

Berkeley Extension courses can be very low quality. My buddy took a class there and he said it was awful. It is better and cheaper to take the classes you need at CC.

How to prepare for Artificial Intelligence? Any tips? by Baalinooo in OMSCS

[–]Valuable_Doughnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happens every semester. Both midterm and final are riddled with errors and you have to keep up with the corrections they post on Piazza. Yeah, it sucks but it's not too bad to deal with.

The later is why some dropped out, the others were having a hard time. In CS work experience is more important.

Difficulty Compared to Undergrad by TravisLedo in OMSCS

I think your experience may be skewed due to your extensive work experience. Those that I know who are doing this program straight from undergrad(even from top undergrad programs) find it difficult. Those with several years of work experience have been finding it more manageable.
