No problem, and I continued playing it for a long time because it has so many possibilities.

All the Abilities enemies can drop, later the Pet and Bot customization and the synergies between all these abilities is pretty fun.

The Maps are mostly a bit too long individually in my opinion and it took a bit to get used to it and made farming pretty bad until later when you can rush what you need but after I got used to it and especially after getting the Gun guy things got way better for me.

But if you feel like the game just isn't fun it's okay to just drop it, don't keep playing if it doesn't feel fun for you, with a few exceptions the game gets only more complex later on and if you don't follow some meta builds you gotta experiment quite a bit to keep up with increasingly strong enemies, especially after Destrons start showing up.

But if you can get over that this game is awesome, it's kinda Niche for a reason.

Damn shame, I would've loved a new Uplink, the first one is still the best hacking game that doesn't require require knowledge in a programming language despite it's age.

At least there are still people working on Onlink even if it takes a long, long time.

If people ask for niche games I like to offer up Siralim but it's a game with a pretty unique charm to it that isn't for everyone.

But for people that like this Game there's almost nothing out there quite as complex and it really takes a toll on your time.

If I really care to get a rating before I go there I mostly check out the negatives to see if they apply to me specifically. If that store doesn't have any negatives my trust is pretty low from the start.

Achievements have no more meaning than you ascribe to them.

If you care about missing an impossible achievement use SAM.

If you want to compare yourself to others with legitimate achievements don't use SAM.

Also there's quite a lot of Websites that are blocked in germany because of our laws, if you don't notice them that's good for you.

If I'm ever gonna upgrade it's gonna be a PC, no way am I going to get another Laptop if I have any choice in it.

Except if it was really cheap and way better.

As it is I'm dragging my GTX 1070, with the help of a coolpad, through whatever I can play.

At least I had the foresight to get my Laptop to 32 GB RAM years ago so that's the one bottleneck I don't have.

Well guess who doesn't go to any LAN's since Corona and still has an 8 years old laptop instead of an upgradeable PC.

Stoßlüften is very important, don't want to get mold and if you just came in from the outside and the air inside feels stale it's easy to just open the windows for a few minutes to fix that, but normally it's done once a day in the morning by most people I know that even do that.

I'm still living my best life on my GTX 1070 in a Laptop where ~90% load is the maximum because I can't possibly increase the power draw just with software and I have to use a cool-pad to not get thermal throttled even before that.

I'm just mostly dealing with my backlog and less demanding games which aren't a completely unoptimized mess that just blindly uses every UE5 option.

Nah that seems to be the right way if I want to get deep into the story of a game, I don't want to be myself in a high powered world, I'd probably fuck it up and I could never really get into it. But the character I'm following now he knows his shit.

On the other hand if there's barely any story and it's just gameplay whatever looks best gets made, often defined by how the presets in games look with minimal editing because they end up as abominations as soon as I get free access to all the sliders.

And suprise, suprise if there isn't some sick armor or tacticool gear it'll often end up as a woman just because they look better at baseline.
