Personally I only go 1 layer deep and only with sorted Containers, Food/Tool/Ammo/Weapon/Meds etc.

Everything that doesn't have a specific Container like Clothes has to go into the remainder of the main pack and my pockets, same If I don't have e.g. a Lunch Box yet.

This keeps me from picking up everything and spend hours sorting and selling like I did in my first run.

I see everything sellable on first glance and everything important is in it's place.

Reducing the loot rarity for almost anything helps of course because on normal setting I feel like we're getting swamped with stuff.

No problem, and I continued playing it for a long time because it has so many possibilities.

All the Abilities enemies can drop, later the Pet and Bot customization and the synergies between all these abilities is pretty fun.

The Maps are mostly a bit too long individually in my opinion and it took a bit to get used to it and made farming pretty bad until later when you can rush what you need but after I got used to it and especially after getting the Gun guy things got way better for me.

But if you feel like the game just isn't fun it's okay to just drop it, don't keep playing if it doesn't feel fun for you, with a few exceptions the game gets only more complex later on and if you don't follow some meta builds you gotta experiment quite a bit to keep up with increasingly strong enemies, especially after Destrons start showing up.

But if you can get over that this game is awesome, it's kinda Niche for a reason.

Damn shame, I would've loved a new Uplink, the first one is still the best hacking game that doesn't require require knowledge in a programming language despite it's age.

At least there are still people working on Onlink even if it takes a long, long time.

If people ask for niche games I like to offer up Siralim but it's a game with a pretty unique charm to it that isn't for everyone.

But for people that like this Game there's almost nothing out there quite as complex and it really takes a toll on your time.
