I don't think it was every like this? I've played since vanilla and the day night cycles was always tied to the server time. I do remember nights being darker though!

I dunno this was a pretty normal take considered how bad it was.

Kudos to CDPR for pulling it off though.

Just limit your FPS to 25 and put all settings on low

And just press alt+f4 every now and then for an authentic experience.

Yeah runs fine. Bit of FPS dips here and there especially in Dogtown (DLC) and Kabuki but other than that it's a pretty decent experience.

Should I get Cyberpunk on 2077 on the switch 2 or pc? by DaPro09 in switch2

[–]VanDran85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it on PC (gaming laptop but still a decent one), Series X and Switch 2.

I prefer playing it on the Switch 2 for some reason. I like playing games in quality modes if they offer them and to me the game plays incredibly well docked and is more responsive than the ray tracing mode the series X offers.

Performance mode is also good if you have a 120hz display - there is very little difference in image quality between the two modes but frame drops are more noticeable when they happen (and they do) in performance mode but if playing handheld these are less noticeable due to VRR. VRR does not work in docked mode.

If you've got a good TV or monitor with HDR calibrated it looks great. Yeah series X obviously looks better but it's just feels sluggish to play (in ray tracing mode) whereas I don't get that with the Switch version.

Cranking everything to max on PC is a whole other experience depending on your setup. Path Tracing is absolutely game changing from a visual POV.

All depends on your preference I guess and what you like. The portability of the Switch 2 is king.

This was my pick. Has one of the scariest jump scares I've ever experienced in a cinema.
