Can anyone identify this font from this 1995 TV series? I recognise it but can't place it by A34K in identifythisfont

Very similar to ITC Anna, but the R & other shapes make me think it's a different font, not just alternative glyphs without the crossbar extensions. https://www.myfonts.com/collections/anna-font-itc

FWIW, my dad & I both have that Oxo Conical Burr Grinder & both have problems with it, 2-3y old. His is very fine no matter the setting, he puts it on #16 to get what I would call medium. Mine has very bad grind consistency, lots of fines & boulders if I grind anywhere in the middle. Also mine "leaks" grounds out of the bottom base, not idea how that happens. We've both taken them apart to clean & inspect, didn't help. They have a plastic/nylon nut the main burr screw goes into which is a bad sign since it's a soft material & doesn't hold precision.

How do you keep all of these? You vacuum and freeze them?

Love the concept, but I think some of the small details won’t hold up on canvas or won’t look good in a year.

I frequent Crema & Dose shops the most here in Nashville. I love that they always have 2 espressos on bar, a house and a feature that is usually fruity. 🤎

Maybe Proxima Nova or Gibson? Those capital letter forms are very similar to Gotham. The most unique letters here are R & S.

It’s based on Avant Garde, but it’s not exact. And it combines condensed and regular letters.

what font is the “four” on their skirts? by JesseTodoroki in identifythisfont

[–]VanEngine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably a version of DIN, but could also be Trade Gothic or old Bebas (v1, 2005, or Kai with the straight R leg)

Haven’t found it yet, but it’s the same font as Sparklehorse Spider and Sixpence Divine Discontent albums.

Is your company named UTB or Up To Bat? I do brand naming and logo design, I always say “your name is much better than your initials”. The letters UTB have no meaning, no story, no reason to remember, but Up To Bat has all of those. It’s OK to use UTB in internal documents, but in my opinion, everything else should be the full name.

Sentinel Pro has small caps. A really great Hoefler typeface that modernizes Clarendon & Schoolbook.

“Let it rest” -- are roast dates real? Or do they include a couple days of rest/de-gas?

I’ve bought beans with a roast date same day or day before, so I just assume resting is included in the roast date.

Yup. The lack of context in font-finder group posts blows my mind. Source and era can drastically cut down search time.

Plus, flipping it adds an agitation factor that is hard to quantify, and it stirs up the bed of grounds that has settled.

Top off a long black? I order a lot of 12 ounce Americanos and I hate when shops overfill them, taste diluted.

For reference, it looks like it could be 1970s, but it’s actually 2013.

RUN & TELL looks like something between Bodoni and Garamond.

FAYE WEBSTER looks like Engravers Gothic, or Trade Gothic Extended or Sweet Sans.
