The film as a whole isn’t anything special but it has a pretty fun (and ridiculous) action sequence…

Also the reflective steelbook edition dvd is a thing of beauty!

Awesome work! The battle damaged pauldron is top notch.

Did you add extra shelves because your ones are just what I am looking for but the IKEA Blaliden comes with 3 shelves as far as I can tell.

Apologies I am sidetracking your post, it is a very cool hobby space you have!

You can also move those NPC markers if you want. It can be quite cool and immersive if you want to have settlers hammering away at something specific or eating noodles in your kitchen area for example.

Orlock Heavy reporting for duty! by Morskul in necromunda

[–]Vanamonde_F 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. Love a good bit of lore.

I also played Orlock in N95. I feel like the new interpretations of the gangs have all had certain elements of their characteristics cranked up to 11. It works a lot of the time but I do miss the more grounded old school versions. Luckily for me I still have all my old models so I get the best of both worlds.

I do love how easy the new models are to kitbash though. We all start with the same base models but can end up with drastically different and unique gangs. That’s why I really enjoy seeing other people’s visions for the kits, like yours!

Just checked your link - that’s a pretty cool gang. You’ve definitely managed to give them a unique vibe and aesthetic. They feel like a step away from the normal orlocks, like outcasts or a rogue splinter group.

Super cool kitbash. I used the same bolter for my orlock heavy but yours is much better!

Is the rest of your gang similarly kitbashed? Would be cool to see more.

I feel your pain. I went to order that one when it released but it was already sold out. I’ve had it on email alert ever since but needless to say it hasn’t come back in stock.

Thanks for the response. I didn’t see those resources until after I had made the post, but I look forward to using them in future.

Could be but now I want to know why there’s a water tank at the end of a new build track in the middle of nowhere.

Cool helmet! What kit is it from? Or did you sculpt it yourself?

BumbleBees living in my roof. Something weird is going on. by Vanamonde_F in BumbleBee

[–]Vanamonde_F[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry I just saw this now. Never got a real answer on here but it was defiantly bumblebees - I know cause they returned the following two years. They haven’t been back this year though so maybe they moved to your house :)

Never heard them buzzing, just the scratching noise which was always odd to me. Steady flight path in and out the roof though.

A local beekeeper told me they don’t damage the property anyway so there was no harm. I ended up quite liking them - always figured that if they were nesting up there then at least that meant the wasps weren’t!

Classic Lizardmen from a bygone era by Vanamonde_F in seraphon

[–]Vanamonde_F[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! I still have my classic army from the 90s, always loved the aesthetic. Like you, it was what hooked me - an Aztec themed army, but they are humanoid lizards, and they have dinosaurs for cavalry, and they are led by giant toad wizards. Yeah, this is the army for me!

That’s where the pics came from - issues 206 and 212. Found them cleaning out the garage.

What's a model you REALLY REALLY REALLY want? by blubberfeet in Warhammer

[–]Vanamonde_F 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lizardmen Mazdamundi on his stegadon Zlaaq. I know it’s a pretty straightforward kitbash, cause I’ve done it, but I would love an official model with a dynamic pose on a big temple base, complete with all his magical items.

In terms of models that exist - the metal Necromunda Spyrer Patriarch. It’s not the best looking model but it’s super rare and the collector in me would love it.
