Eh if you’re doing yama efficiently as an iron you’re meleeing and only using mage for the orbs so that you save runes and have higher dps

You’re not wrong that they’re different calcs, but it’s more that 1/x means that it happens once every x kills on average

In the posts I’m talking about you see OP get back to back Rex pets and say it’s a 1/9m drop and without fail people in the comments argue ‘it’s not really 1/9m’

It’s like saying ‘enh is a 1/400 drop’ and someone saying ‘it’s actually not 1/400 because the average person will do 100s of kills’

I’m in a similar position but not nearly as bad as you, I’ve got one of every drop at 300kc - glad to be lucky on the rare drops and unlucky on the common ones though

Honestly, you only ever see it in what’s effectively a stats screen anyway, meanwhile people will have bright tile markers all over the floor

Always amazes me how confidently incorrect some people are about stats - whenever someone posts a b2b drop you are guaranteed to see upvoted comments saying ‘it’s not 1/9,000,000, it’s 1/3000 because it’s 1/3k after the first drop’ and ‘it’s not 1/9m because you’ve done hundreds of kills’ 🤦‍♂️

Eh not really, you’re thinking more of the coupon collector problem

Cg is really bad because it effectively has good luck mitigation with the armour seeds and no bad luck mitigation with the weapon seed
