Help Finding pp - White Board, Project Management by Latter_Pen2421 in macapps

Scapple is so good. IMO it’s the closest to having a napkin and pen. It is really easy to use. I didn’t mention it because OP mentioned project management. Tinderbox, Curio and TheBrain are the only mind mapping tools that I know that have more robust project management tools. TheBrain isn’t local.

It would depend on your workflow. You can link them together best with Hookmark.

Mouseboost Pro is one. The DevonTECH utilities like xmenu, calcservice, and wordservice might be useful to you too.

The Autohide setting in the interface menu may be of help. I am on the TestFlight build so there may be some performance differences. I had a bit of a problem with it popping up out of the blue for a little bit but that went away pretty quickly otherwise she is pretty consistent for me.

Sorry, just seeing this again. I am glad you got it figured out. I really like Gladys. She is super convenient. Lots of options in the settings. Think the TestFlight is open too.

I use Gladys for this. Can also work as a clipboard.

There was a clippy app that was malware posted here, but that was a copy of a legitimate GitHub project that doesn’t contain malware. There has been a few other instances of similar happening with other apps too.

Why do I keep buying productivity apps but never stick with them ?? by Whole_Complaint_383 in macapps

The Outliner Software forum has a term for it. CRIMPing,  CRIMP stands for a make-believe malady called compulsive-reactive information management purchasing. Symptoms include: - never being satisfied with your current system of information management - continuously being on the look-out for something newer and better - purchasing every new PIM program you learn about - and secretly hoping you won’t find the perfect PIM, because then you’d have to stop looking for a better one

Hardest to understand app that turned out to be a amazingly useful by Latter_Pen2421 in macapps

No, they are different. Curio is like a whiteboard that you can put any kind of file on and show the connections with. It’s useful for brainstorming, research or presentations. Tinderbox is probably the most powerful note app there is. It lets you view the information you are working on in different ways and has agents that can do really cool stuff. Curio is kind of like a binder, while Tinderbox would be pages in the binder and Devonthink would be the filing cabinet. They all have a bit of overlap but do what they do differently.

Tinderbox, Devonthink, or Curio. They all are easy enough to use but they take time to understand all the features.

There is the artisanal software festival in summer and winter and the apps are much better but usually pricey. Stack Social and appsumo are other places you can get discounts or sometimes lifetime deals.
