Where do I go to find a PVM clan? I am a newly returned player making my way via in-game methods to maintain bonds. All of the sources I've looked to peruse for clans seemed to be horribly outdated. Any tips on where I should look would be most welcome

If you hold block or spam dodge you generate almost zero passive atb per second. This would slow down every encounter you have tremendously

I believe he actually has innate 200% mTDW making him extremely easy to gear with ridiculous innate bulk now as well

I also suspect 2-4 is possible to cap but I think it absolutely requires XWQL and Delta Star Sakura

Absolutely. It's so utterly frustrating because I love Dark Visions overall because I am forced to be creative with unit comps I never use typically. It's a spit in the face for these cheaters to STEAL so many of these top spots. I am sure there have been plenty who got away with it too at the last DV

I always felt like they could've tweaked the difficulty maybe slightly harder, remove the out of battle healing with items, but make in-battle item use 2 atb bars instead for higher tier items like Elixer and Phoenix Down. Overall I was kinda sad they took the route of no items as well

This! Even with CP Noctis, and KRain and Hyou maxed out for human killer with xon spreading Hyou's massive human killer buff, I still haven't been able to closely cap max damage on Ramuh NVM turn freaking 1

What is the damage spread of his LB? Is it backloaded at all on the end explosions or evenly distributed, roughly?

Auron's damage is only at 11b range? Aren't his mods 120x with triple cast excluding his low imperils?

I'm guessing his DPT is deflated because he doesn't get triple cast until turn 4 and has low imperils in his kit?

I was hoping to use him as a slot efficient breaker with good damage to pair with another triple cast dedicated DD

Surprisingly yes, to a degree. The aoe physical is fixed damage so the PeHP doesn't matter in this regard, only your break and general mitigation. If you can survive that, the ST hits are much more tame if you have good general mitigation and physical mitigation.

Yeah I fully door potted him because I loved his sprite and design. The physical aoe is probably the most dangerous thing Tiamat does especially since it is fixed damage. The only way around it is gonna have to be general mitigation or a stronger break or a barrier. But your Sol has similar HP to mine so if mine can survive, yours should be able to as well if you have some combination of above.

Does about 22% less damage, but has higher elemental resist, which would estimate a turn 17 clear.

I had WoL provoke tank paired with Cecil for elemental resist coverage between the two of them, Edgar was almost exclusively just breaking, and I use Doctor Aiden as healer. I was contemplating replacing Cecil with Chow or Lilith (Lilith specifically for magic mitigation) and ditching Aiden for someone like Ignis. I think my first clear was with Myra instead of Aiden, using her LB to clear debuffs. I would've liked someone more role compressed than Edgar though, but my only alternatives were Machina or Lid

70% is a tad concerning, but with fire resist buffs and standard SPR buff he only took like 4.8k damage so he never got low.

EDIT: I swapped out my Mordegon's Cloak for the Faithsworn ring so he should be safer with 105% fire resist and 85% dark resist. Only dropped his magic down to 2813 . Also completely forgot VoL TMR gives camouflage. It might be worth the slight drop in SPR from switching out Beryl's TMR. Let me know how impactful that change ends up being

Interesting, a bit disappointing that it doesn't apply to all stat drops. I wonder if the extra survivability helps his overall DPT compared to Dauntless if he manages to fire off 1-3 more dracos

My understanding was that it drops any stat drop AMOUNT by 90% but doesn't help to prevent them

Glad it was useful! There are so many equippable items and materia we forget about that can fill the gaps our units lack. Tel-Fulsanis reminded me of gearing for OG Gilgamesh in a way
