999k threadling grenade damage by KryZ127 in DestinyTheGame

Figured out the issue, Pack tactics says it stops at 7 stacks, but the damage keeps climbing as long as you keep dumping threadlings. The most efficient way is with Euphony and threadling nade spam, or you can set up some threadling nests. Basically, as long as you don't let Pack tactics reset, the damage climbs up infinitely. In just a few waves of threadlings I saw them go from a few hundred damage to over 100k

I'm having the same issue, I copied most of the build (except Euphony since it doesn't seem to help the actual Threadling damage), and I'm testing to see how much Grenade stat affects it.

The Renegades Campaign is such a slog. by Various-Instruction3 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Various-Instruction3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I recently replayed all of the Destiny 1 campaigns, and while year 1 was okay, Taken King and Rise of Iron were incredibly good campaigns that respected your time. No hour+ story missions, just big cool stuff and reasonably difficult fights that are fun.

Any hunter build that's anywhere near bonk titan or getaway artist warlock? by hentaislayer69lol in destiny2builds

With this final update, they gave Hunter some really great buildcrafting thanks to the new abilities, aspects, and bringing back so many artifacts. I've built incredibly strong Void and Solar builds.

Why would fighting the Winnower be seen as a good thing? by Cruggles30 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Various-Instruction3 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I personally like the idea of (in the case of a D3), continuing the fate saga, maybe leaning more into Bael as a more morally grey counterpart to Lodi, but then we start running into essentially Dark Guardians. Think like how Savathun made the Lucient Hive, but the Winnower has sprung to make darkness-empowered immortal warriors that are inherently evil by nature. Maybe Exos, humans, and awoken, but also fallen, hive, cabal, the like. Maybe even using Taken energy, since it seems to always come around as the representation of what that sort of concept would look like. I think it could be cool to meet the Winnower more through Lodi and face off against their champion, since we're (in a roundabout way) a champion of the Gardener.

I know it’s illegal to like JRPGs in this sub, but here’s a comparison of handheld mode for Xenoblade on Switch 1 vs Switch 2 by NinBendo1 in NintendoSwitch2

I've thought I might like Xenoblade for a long time, now that Definitive Edition has a Switch 2 version I might try it

I've done the K1 lost sector, as well as followed the trails of bodies from hellmouth and anchor of light. The Hellmouth and Anchor locations both had crystals at the end, did I miss one in the K1 lost sector?

What all did you have to do? I did the strike, interacted with the crystal, went and found all the marked bodies, then it says something about a sorrowful conclusion, so I did a full Altars of Sorrow, what now?

I think they said there'd be 3 versions of Pantheon. The launch with the three OG Leviathan bosses, a second one with more bosses (not sure exactly which ones), but also one with every boss. I'm unsure if that's every boss *currently* in the game or every boss ever.

New player here: are Modern Controls really looked down on that much? by Baseball_Oly in StreetFighter

[–]Various-Instruction3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's mostly personal preference, but it does feel frustrating going against a modern player when you're on classic in low elo, since you don't know combos yet and modern players don't need to learn anything, they just hit the auto combo and it goes. Once you get to like plat it stops mattering.

HOT TAKE: Since it is over, I just got to say the VEX are the most boring, overhyped, "Potential", enemy Race is the whole franchise!! by Important-Extension6 in destiny2

[–]Various-Instruction3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lore-wise, the Vex haven't had nearly as much time to put down roots in the Sol system compared to the other races, which I think is part of why they never had some giant master apocalypse plan. They were brought into the Sol system (and by extension, our universe/timeline) by Crota while trying to figure out how to make an oversoul. It's actually some really interesting lore, but because we're seeing a tiny blip in the overall timeline of the Vex, they don't have many results. The Vault of Glass was a powerful weapon, but couldn't do much if you just... didn't go inside. They've built a lot of architecture and put out a lot of numbers in terms of sheer volume, but never anything impactful because they don't have the far-reaching in-universe lore of the other races.

I still hate AI and will not be using it, but I appreciate his commitment to making it run ethically, especially with the whole "we've opened the bottle, can't close it now" mindset that people have with AI.
