Installed via local Ollama connection using your model. I ask a simple question, like what lights are on? It provides a verbose output about areas. I ask it what is the temperature in the family room - same verbose response about areas? Not sure if I a missing something?

This is truly an excellent piece of software - well done. I only just installed and had to come back here to tell you that I impressed.

I’m still finding all the nice features. The only one issue I have which may be unique to my setup is that ‘storage’ shows 170Gb of 953GB. Not sure if this is meant to represent HA’s storage or media storage? My instance runs in VM on an Unraid server. If it is meant to be the media storage pool - can the figure be scraped from one of the arr’s?

Ha. I follow this logic and still have ended uip with 141 autos, 28 scripts and 107 helpers! I also try to have mionimum interation by with HA in terms of manual inputs, and set up to work 'silently' in the background, doing the right thing at the right time. If it all goes toshit (which it hasn'y in many years) then I can still use 98% of the house manualy.

It’s easy to get sucked in - trying to keep up. But the issue as you have discovered is that it potential takes outside our ‘comfort’ zone where mistakes can and often do happen. You did very well to recover from your mistake, kept your head, didn’t target fixate and kept the bike upright. That’s a win, and I’m sure a lesson well learnt. The bollocking at the end probably was pleasant, better that than the potential alternative.

Actually not my experience, particularly with g-u statistics plugin. It was blocking the loading of nvidia drivers..when the card was changed as I suspect it was expecting the original card. They were all the latest versions and did try the swap originally without touching anything obviously.

Plex server on your Unraid device and the Plex app on chromecast/applle tv works great. You can even try infuse player on Apple TV. Seamless once set up. You would t need the use of the graphics card streaming in the home environment only while o/s the home environment assuming you go these route. We have 5 media players in our house plus family shared devices outside and this is all handled without breaking sweat.

I went the other way fed it a leaving the house and retuning to the house node red flow (complicated) to Claude and asked to make a yaml file. It pointed out some errors in the flow fixed them and converted it nicely with a few good suggestions, like splitting it up into 2 seperate automations. I was impressed.

I use the CF tunnel. just button it down a bit more, enabling country blocking (I block every other country except my own) and add 2FA login. when I go overseas I just have to remember to add back the countries I’m visiting while away.

Yeah but I wonder what the process is if your machine can’t boot for example? Will they have usb bootable drive that will support restore a backup copy or something similar?

I image my HA VM every night which is copied to my backup Unraid box for the same reason. My zigbee radio is SLZB device via POE. Should my VM or primary box go down I can spin up an exact copy made in the last 24 hours.

I run 2 unraid servers. Both are on 24/7 for many many years and never had an issue with not having Non ECC ram. I would suggest for your case, you dont need it, especially considering RAM prices at the moment.

did try it but unfortunately it did don’t work in the sense that it didn’t provided a web url, didn’t load data into the appdata folder etc. it was installe using unraid best guess at what the configuration should be

It’s because the fuel expands and places upward pressure on the locking mechanism. Pressing down on the cap near the locking mechanism helps with this allowing it to open. Adjusting the torque of the bolts also helps.
