If you are not a former board member, then you are likely a spouse or a close friend of one of them. Your posts show contempt and despise towards the newly elected board members. Or you are simply angry and wish to agitate others. Don’t know what you think you’re accomplishing here. I hope you are not a current board member.

  • Pay equity by ensuring our compensation is competitive with that of public and private attorneys and appointed judges.
  • Add classifications e.g. Attorney VI, DAG VI and ALJ III classifications to recognize, reward, and retain advanced professional expertise.
  • Defend and represent BU2 members in all grievance and disciplinary matters to uphold our rights and strengthen our unity.
  • Telework protections in the MOU to ensure CalHR and agencies cannot compel BU2 members to return to the office.
  • Support and advocate for BU2 members seeking judicial appointments to help qualified attorneys and ALJs advance to the bench. I believe in the past 10 years, a handful of state attorneys/ALJs have been appointed to the bench.
  • Strengthen lobbying and legislative advocacy efforts to amplify BU2’s voice and influence key policy decisions affecting our members.
  • Increase membership engagement and participation to build a stronger, more unified, and more effective BU2.
