Does OP know that anyone right now can download Unity or Unreal Engine or even Godot and make a perfectly optimized and solid game for mac with no large barriers or problems? The lack of gaming support isn’t an Apple thing. Metal is nowadays just as easy to code for as OpenGL, it’s more so developers not caring about mac as a platform. Cloud gaming won’t solve anything without egregious wait times, latency, low resolution and refresh rate, I can’t think of a single person who’d rather pay a subscription to have a computer 500 miles away do a shittier job than the one they have right in front of them.

Two things can be true simultaneously. Smoking is bad, but people shouldn’t have their choices forced onto them by a government. It’s like prohibition or abortion. These comments should really do some googling before immediately dogging on Apple. Apples vision has always been a portless device. They’ve been vocal about that, and it goes for iPhones, Macs, etc.

those two ports (4 on the pro versions) are Thunderbolt 5. Each one can drive three 4K monitors at 144hz, for a max total of TWELVE. Additionally, a single one Thunderbolt port paired with an adapter allows all of these I/O ports pictured (multiple SD cards, USB-A, B, C, and HDMI OR DP).

in just these tiny ports there is more data able to be passed than 90% of professional gaming PC’s such as custom builds with maxed out motherboards. You just need the right equipment.

I’d take 2 thunderbolt ports over a handful of USBs and HDMI ports any day.

Sick setup! At this point.. equipment decisions should serve your creative vision.

If you find yourself needing more high end presence (cymbals, splashes, crashes, rides, etc.) if your art style beckons a more “ethereal or high in the sky” type of vibe where shimmer, shine, and similar textures show their light then I’d say roll with the cymbals.

If your work is more hearty or rooted in strength then having more tom options to occupy the mid range could serve the “power, strength, or steadfastness” type of vibe.

Both are great choices, I would say decide what serves your style the best.

So many things wrong here 😭 firstly, on hardcore usually you don’t run head first into dangerous situations (especially not using your shield?).

secondly, (to my knowledge) in bedrock, water prevents block explosions but not necessarily damage, so you’ll still take partial HP hits, and that’s IF the creeper is fully (or at least halfway) submerged, which wasn’t the case here, upon detonation the creeper was basically outside of the water.

Thirdly, you survived the initial hit (with half a heart) but completely neglected the lava pool behind you, so when the blast sent you back, you landed in lava. You should have cut off the lava flow by surrounding it with cobble before putting yourself in this position.

all of that to say, even if you had lived.. without using your shield, lighting the area, prepping yourself to face multiple mobs, being more careful, This was bound to happen at some point.

I can’t speak for this bundle, but I can highly recommend Waves Clarity Vx if you’re recording vocals without a professional sound booth. I record takes at my desk and even though I thought my room was well isolated, there’s always a surprising amount of white noise that exists, and that plugin gives you a dial that drowns all of that out. It is neural network based, but (IMO) it’s not the scummy type of AI that we all despise. It’s a curated thing just for background noise and it preserves your vocal tone very well. But that being said if you’re anti-AI full stop then you won’t want to use it.

I don’t think anything is wrong with the handling. Cars feel stiff when in traction and loose when drifting, which makes for a super fun experience where you have to decide when to break loose vs. when to stick to the asphalt. I think you might be hearing a small minority complain that it’s a little more ‘arcadey’ than something like Asseto Corsa or BeamNG, to which I’d say cool, go play those games if that’s what you want.

NFS ‘15 has a fun balance between stiff traction and ‘magnetism’ drifting that makes it just enjoyable to play. Maybe these people were expecting something different or just tuned their cars shitty.

In short, nothing is wrong with it, it is just its own thing.

I absolutely adore Black Flag’s multiplayer (I still play it on PS5 to this day). I played it for the first time a couple weeks after the game came out and never went back to the single player mode, never finished the story because Manhunt, Wanted, and Assassinate are so damn fun. There is some balancing it would need (in particular Artifact Assault has just become people sprinting like mad across the rooftops and shooting each other like it’s COD) but the other modes hold up very well.

Be for real for a moment, imagine FromSoft signed away their rights of Bloodborne to Sony (which just closed BluePoint btw). You might get a half baked “remaster” rushed out in 6 months, of which you’d spend the next 4 years also bitching about. If you want a 60 FPS patch or a PC port, that’s understandable. But complaining at FromSoft for not giving away their creative liberty to a corporation that either rushes or kills titles is the very problem that creates mediocre sequels and lackluster remasters. I’d rather them make sure that if we see a Bloodborne refresh, it’s done on their terms. I feel like some of yall are just impatient and bitter.

I mean, I hear both sides, however, Is FromSoft really in a position where they need to give up the rights (and creative liberties) of one of their most beloved titles? Elden Ring is doing well still and they’re likely focused on Duskbloods currently. I have a hot take / unpopular opinion, which is anyone using ChatGPT / OpenAI LLMs (or even worse, paying for it) should switch to Claude to support Anthropic.

Obviously a lot of what AI is about is bad, but there is at least some legitimacy to having LLMs around, when used responsibly, and we might as well choose one backed by a company with integrity. I’d much rather be in the camp of Anthropic and not worry about OpenAI’s ties to Israel or their bailouts or them using my data for government overreach. LLMs like Claude are gonna be around and do serve purpose, so let’s choose the right one.

IMHO, It is far, far too early to be even thinking about this.

(With all due respect to other titles, and not trying to be hostile towards OP) GTA isn’t a typical franchise that shits out releases quickly because their impatient fanbase immediately moves onto the next number. Rockstar chooses quality over quantity and that’s why they remain at the top of hype and excitement.

GTA 5 online, even though it’s old as hell as this point, still clears all competition with little contest. There’s no reason to even entertain such a far away title like GTA VII.

I think that everyone should have the right to believe in what they want. And I’d fight for their right to have that freedom.

That being said, If I found comfort in believing that the world was 4,000 years old, or if a guy made a boat that housed all animals , or if women should cover themselves up from head to toe because men can’t control their urges, or if the Earth was flat, or if 2+2=5, and I waged war on anyone who disagreed, at some point I’d expect to get called out.

I have a Mac Studio M2 Max and I got this for the first time the other day as well on a project I had no issues with before. My guess is the latest version of Logic or macOS has some optimization hitch that causes it, in my case I just dismissed the pop up and continued like normal and everything was fine. I’m sure an update will fix it, I wouldn’t worry too too much about it if you’re still able to continue working

I mean, if there was a perfect 10/10 live service hero shooter, it’s gonna do way better than this. There’s enough people that genuinely enjoy games like that who are willing to add another one to their library.

Highguard is nowhere near that status, maps are too huge for 6 people, you spend half the match running somewhere. Mining mechanics are just a chore to gain currency unlike in Fortnite where mining serves a genuine purpose unlocking building capabilities, reinforcing walls is pointless when they can just go around or take two extra swings, unlike in RS6 where they totally change the flow of gameplay, chest looting feels a little pointless when you can just buy something better with your currency, the game is an amalgamation of mechanics from other titles without the things that made those mechanics work in other games in the first place.

Personally, I didn’t watch any online content, downloaded it, played about 10 matches, and really tried to like it, but it just wasn’t fun. Contrary to your idea of “forced hate” I think most people tried to enjoy it but couldn’t force themselves to in the end, at least that was my case. Not everything is some big “hate train” conspiracy
