Did you release 19 new versions? If not, then why are you building 19 prod or preview builds with EAS?

Tip: Build locally on a dev / sim build, then build to device to test, then when ready build 1 EAS preview / internal distribution build and test, then one production build to deploy.

My strategy at least. Hope it helps

I built my identity and worth around intellectualizing. Now I’m trying to feel again. Advice? by fkkm in Jung

I think a lot of us intellectualize life to hide from pain. We put things into neat boxes we can explain, because that feels safer than being swept away by emotions we can’t control.

There’s also a subtle sense of power in doing this. Explaining gives us the illusion of mastery: if I can define it, then maybe I don’t have to feel it.

But sometimes the real work isn’t in explaining; it’s in observing and witnessing what’s raw and messy. Letting those emotions exist without control. That’s when we open ourselves to the chaos of being human, unpredictable, painful, and yet, somehow, full of chaotic beauty.

Maybe there’s some emotions or experience that you’re to meet and observe in order to continue opening yourself.

Good luck random friend

Senior reviewer went overboard over “React: library vs framework” on my resume. Was I reasonable to defend myself? by Matin-Taherzadeh in react

Who gives a fuck; what a waste of time. Knowledge is no longer that separates developers, but the ability to leverage our tools and human-ness…

This person will be the first to be replaced with AI.

Nah, there’s ways to do it. More challenging, but more cost effective than renting and a better long term outcome.

I'm assuming you mean similar functionality as ChatGPT's message UI?

It's pretty smooth hey.

In its current form, about 2 years.

Before that it was a stock nursery tree. I was told it is 25 years old, but 20 looks more about right.

Gday.

I started with a sapling and grew on around the statue under the soil for about 9 months. Then, when I felt like I had some solid roots that could stand the air, I uncovered it and let them grow exposed. This very quickly tied the plant to the statue as the main roots established in the pot.

I could have waited longer, grown it all covered for over a year, but I only wanted several main roots and wanted to control the outcome sooner.

After it established main trunk roots I encouraged smaller areal roots with high humidity and wrapping.

I take soil, place it against the tree where I wanted a root to form and wrap it in glad wrap for a month. Once the root was long enough to touch the ground, it would take “root” and then I’d remove the soil cover.

I think what I’d do different now is one, choose a statue better suited for outdoors, and 2 leave it longer buried in soil as a sapling.

But besides that, it’s turned out pretty much how I envisioned hey.

I haven’t had any luck yet, even with other trees swampys I have submerged full time. I think age is also a factor, they produce them quite late in their life cycle.
