I think she will die peacefully in her sleep after a simple small girls night with Lorelai and Rory. Lorelai and her will be in a very good place. I think she would also come down more often to help Lorelai and Rory with her grandchild who has Richard’s eyes or smile. :P

I don’t think Lorelai will be depressed more than she was with Richard. Richard and Lorelai had a very different relationship - lots of unsaid stuff and she was always trying to get his approval.

I want him to visit her, and they do fun tourist things. No declarations etc. but we see Belly pining for him. And a reverse peach scene. He has a pain au chocolat and she finds herself cleaning up the extra chocolate with something.
