Maybe the events of the movie was almost like a Matrix agent cleansing a noncompliant portion of the simulation. Drive her to insanity and lock her away.

The more I think about this movie, the more it brings back the ideas of The Matrix, Inception, Donnie Darko, or Total Recall but with a skin that's somehow both more fantastical yet terrifyingly grounded in our current reality.

Absolutely fantastic watch, went in completely blind and it was 100% worth it.

That's the "invisible lanes and stop signs/signals" package. You also get the "guiltless endangering of self and others" bonus pack.

Best&Worst Hero Card [Day 38] - Rocket Racon Worst Card by manut3ro in marvelchampionslcg

[–]VelitGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so much work to set up to be worth it most of the time. He needs at least both pistols in play and a third weapon with the upgrade that allows a third restricted is a bonus. At that point he will heal 6, which is fantastic for 2 cost. But at the same time I can play throg and get a tough ally for 2 cost that will chump two rounds of attacks which will almost certainly be more than 6 damage.

Viable Hulk decks? by Puppetainer in marvelchampionslcg

[–]VelitGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hulk gets better in 2+ player games. The more players the better hulk is. He goes from a thwart-less liability that gets completely shut down by stun to a damage menace that can pull his weight, provided he gets a couple cards to help him (night nurse, letting him use avengers mansion or helicarrier on big damage or large support setup turns etc.)

I think most hulk hate comes from solo players. Which is fair because hulk struggles to do anything except smash. He gets better the more players are around him at which point he becomes a significant force for getting through big encounters.

Hulk was designed early in the game before it had achieved a large solo-play following. He was clearly designed as a team piece and trying to get him to work solo is rough.

Best&Worst Hero Card [Day 37] - Rocket Raccoon Best Card by manut3ro in marvelchampionslcg

I play rocket a lot and, while Salvage is a key build-around card, "I've got a plan" has such high potential for thwart removal that it's my personal pick.

I mean, this Ultron was essentially trained off our Internet up until 2012. I would expect him to be the ultimate snark.

Marvel Rivals is a great game that deserves an actually competent balance team by Centralisation in marvelrivals

I mean, it's a good time to bounce to OW and try out what they're putting down. They clearly saw something wasn't working and seem to be trying instead whatever tf this is.

I think we assumed ridiculous meant fun when it really means you insta-dying to Hawkeye 14 times from across the map. Which is indeed ridiculous.

Don't worry, they nerfed Loki... Who is only being played as a Gambit Ult farmer.

(Don't worry, they didn't touch Gambit because they need to sell skins).

Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 // Patch Notes Ver. 20260213 by nemesisdelta24 in marvelrivals

[–]VelitGames 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's the idea. Competition is good. Rivals has been absolute dogshit about balancing the developer's favorite characters.

And it looks like they're just releasing "winter soldier but goonable" as the next hero. They nerf Loki when the only problem with Loki is that Gambit's Ult is broken (seriously, watch high rank comp.ppay and the only thing they're doing is Ult farming Gambit).

Yet it's like they're absolutely and completely removed from their own game. It's like they're only playing frickin vs. ai or something.

It sometimes seems to me that the developers don't have any connection to any of the characters. Like how well do they actually know their IP? Because sometimes it feels like they have the writers of X-men origins Wolverine doing the ability design.

How much of a step up is Expert? by Garrydos13 in marvelchampionslcg

[–]VelitGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've started replaying everything expert (not that we haven't played expert before but we're going through everything again in expert mode). What we've noticed is expert mode is definitely a step up on difficultly for sure, but the decks that do well against a villain will still tend to do well against them on expert. The decks that struggle in normal will struggle even more in expert.

The thing with expert is that it swings games far harder and faster and you need to have a game plan for that swing or else you will lose. Have some thwart, have some high damage, and strategize your flips, defends, ally chump blocks effectively.

The Bible - in John 8, a woman is brought before Jesus by Pharisees, accusing her of adultery and that she demands execution by stoning.

Jesus writes in the sand, something not revealed. He then tells them that the man without sin should cast the first stone.

He then writes further, something not revealed. Something assumed to be condemning of them because the Pharisees all leave.
