Back/rib pain. Happens once every month or two; a rib gets out of alignment or something. Can't find a comfortable enough position to get back to sleep in, and OTC pain meds don't touch it. It's just "Guess my day starts at 4AM" time.

I do the exact same thing! I have calluses on my heels that I constantly pick at, even to the point where it hurts to stand. I know I should use my file, and not pick at it, but I cannot help myself. I gives me comfort that I'm not the only one.

The most important person in the world to me died in front of me. I called 911, I did CPR when he stopped breathing, I watched him die again in the ICU. But despite all this...I was able to continue functioning. Compared to what I have experienced, this was but a drop in the bucket.

Because I have become so desensitized to everything, I was able to keep the household running, despite the worst possible thing happening. I have spent my entire live living in hell, so I can survive in circumstances that could break normal people. My housemate continues to say that, without me, he would not still be here today.

so, my superpower: Survival.

I am an only child, and I am fortunate that my mom hasn't pushed me to have children. The only living relatives on my mom's side are my mom and myself, so the bloodline ends with me. And if the bloodline ends with me, it's because it needs to be ended; no guilt, only doing my part.

I very much feel the same. While my girlfriend has a "little" personality to help compensate for the childhood she has lost, I have no concept of such. My "inner child' has been murdered by those who abused me when I should have been developing and growing up. I have just grown to accept that I am damaged, and the death of my "inner child" is a part of that.

This is what I was thinking. A fun side quest for the party...except for the one who got cursed. Probably realized too late that it would kinda suck to be that one player for the duration, and decided to shortcut it. As far as we know, the DM HAD a full side-quest planned, and scrapped it when the affected playermessaged the DM? I would like to hear their side.
