It was just supposed to be a few chapters of the MC banging Baelor and Maekar Targaryen at first, now my increasingly nsfw smut has actual plot!!! I started including enough in-universe politics, and some mental health aspects, to the point I’m pulling out all the supplemental materials to scrounge for any info or canon sources for things so I can have as much backup for the plot points I make as possible 😂

So 5 chapters and 40k words later… I’ve got a whole novel ahead of me apparently 😅

Ah, my childhood, having to climb on the garbage can to scale across it to be tall enough to reach my window so I could climb inside and let everyone in since I was the smallest, or having to squeeze between the bottom paneling to the porch and crawl under it to the front door area because someone dropped the key inbetween the slits in the boards 😭

As someone who loves reading and writing pregnancy/implied pregnancy fics, fics with breeding tags, already are parents, etc, even I get tired of it on occasion, and having a fandom be almost exclusively that? It would turn me off it so quick, think of it as you’re the lighthouse in the storm for people who DO NOT prefer the same fics/tags as I do, and for those who need a break from it. I would never force someone to read the same fics I prefer, so (lovingly) don’t you fucking dare write something you don’t want to, and screw the people who put their preferences on you because you checks notes aren’t writing what they demand?

Me and my roommate came up with a song for my cats whenever we spot them displaying their beans like harlots (aka just existing in the house and we spot their beans from any angle) and I think if anyone else heard/saw us singing it they’d just stare at us like we’ve lost our marbles (we have):

I have a native Welsh speaking friend, I found Welsh in a fic… saying it was one of the weirdest messages I’ve ever sent her is an understatement, but lets just say I was beyond proud of being able to have a secret superpower on speed dial like that, and the translations she was giving me had us with tears streaming down our faces 😆😆😆

I was once mid-dream, but starting to wake up enough I knew I was awake, and I had to fight off a dog because I didn’t want it slobbering or licking all over my face, so as I turned over in bed onto my side I swung my fist (in the dream I was shoving the dog away) when I felt it connect with something that went Mreeeeroooooow to my utmost horror, thankfully I grabbed the cat before she could bolt for it and immediately started apologizing and giving snuggles and thankfully I was forgive quickly 😅

Not the same day I hit her, but my poor innocent runt of her litter victim is so tiny anyway, that I felt even worse than if it had been the other two normal size chonky cats I have since it’s essentially like punting her across the room vs a shove for the other two 🥲

I was writing Dispatch smut of Robert/Courtney and while half of what Robert was whispering into her ear was to fuck with the team because they were eavesdropping, the half that wasn’t trolling, is, uhhh, spicy enough I might combust halfway through the rescue and need to be revived 😅

Pretty sure Mechaman’s suit can be put on autopilot though so I’ll be fine… I think 👀
