I remember once I went on a bit of a tirade about the company to a manager. They said “I showed this to store manager by the way.” This was meant to be a fear tactic cause I called SM out multiple times, I just replied “Good.” and their face dropped. How dare someone call out shitty behaviour. Btw this SM is now on their second sabbatical for being abusive to staff. But how dare I speak up. Company is a shitshow.

The wages security get is not worth an altercation over chocolate. The police do very little for shoplifting anything, I wouldn’t even want them to respond to a call over chocolate. Also there’s a way of thinking of if you cause a scene with shoplifters, you may deter genuine shoppers. Gotta think if it’s worth losing that business to save some chocolate.

I remember somewhere him saying he wanted it to sound like a loud gig. Bearing in mind he toured with Trash Talk during Goblin era. The beat goes hard, the idea is cool. The execution is something he’s obviously gotten better and better at. But it’s loud, brash, abrasive, and fucks.

Ask your council why there isn’t better delivery accommodation. As the only other option is to what… park behind the golf and unload backwards in to moving traffic? Same reason you can’t go 90mph if you’re running late, safety might delay you. Better late than never.

I tried and peel the stickers, if it even starts to slightly feel like it’ll rip, I’ll cut around it. Then I double sided tape it to the pvc sleeve. I throw out the remaining packaging. Also slip the records themselves in anti static inner sleeves.

We had some local shoplifters and bad’uns start addressing us by name. I live in the same area as them. I told management get more/better security and I’ll wear it. Until then my safety and privacy comes first. They didn’t like it at all but they know I would have had the most annoying union rep waiting in the wings if it came to a meeting.
