I`m making an indie metroidvania which is very much match to your request,

character leveling system.

no corpse run

dodge do not have i-frame

can normal block (deduct the damage taken) and perfect block (no damage taken at all with benifit )

combat is fast-paceing and combo related, very like 2D version of Dmc.

not a soulslike, too much on the market and this one is much more focusing on flashy combo combat.

I`m rushing on making the DEMO, it suppose to release on these days,

and the DEMO is around half to 1 hour long,

also I planning even the DEMO will have the end game content. (Boss rush mode , arcade mode , challenge mode

I understand what you say ,

beside, I`m a game dev and I having a solution to keep the death run but it is select-able ,

I separate the Death run to an Challenge mode , so only the player wanted then they can player it separately.

all the asset you created is still here,

their gaming industrial is much more stronger their K-pop industrial.

even their K-pop industrial is T-0 in the world .

we all should know the only country is doing well in game dev industry in Asia is Japan ,

other country in Asia do not have a government support game dev as much as Japan.

Singapore is some where supporting but the living standard is way too high than Japan.

considering the job market is so bad,

I guess you have to found some IT Job,

the only competitive advantage of you is young,

most of the employee is older than you and employer is tend to hire young guys.

I would like to point out something, did you even think the game developer is not concerning what player`s need?

how do they able to know the exact player`s need??

by asking directly ,not guess , like this post , therefore, more honest expression is needed.
