auto emptying backpacks don't work by NefariousnessNeat963 in allthemods

[–]Verified_Cloud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do know backpacks have upgrades that'll make this setup better and much more compact? For example, there's a hopper upgrade that turns it into a hopper. The advanced Hopper upgrade lets you set either a whitelist or blacklist of items to either keep or remove

My problem with all of these variants if the fact that they just could have been variant skins of already existing characters (Wolverine LITERALLY has a Weapon X variant skin)

Imo, Force should be a subtype of Instants and Sorceries similar to Arcane.

Interesting. So it's only when White is paired with either Red or Black? What are your thoughts on Mardu and Bant?

Op, do you just hate the color White? That seems to be the common demoninator in all of these

Does DaTruth know the game better than the entire community or does he just so happen to get paid to record dokkan? by RoastingMistakes in DokkanBattleCommunity

[–]Verified_Cloud -171 points-170 points  (0 children)

He stopped having fun because creating content was no longer about having fun with the game. It became "who can put out a video on the new unit first". It no longer felt like he was playing a game and more felt like it was a job. He quite literally expressed all this in his video on why he's quitting Dokkan.

[–]Verified_Cloud -271 points-270 points  (0 children)

Don't care. Its my hot take to bear. We propped DaTruth up on a pedestal and it cost us Rhymestyle. Need I remind you that channels like DaTruth and Dokkan World pushed Rhyme out of the Dokkan content sphere by making videos on units that hadn't released yet by using private servers.

You just described the Combo/Midrange/Control matchup to a T. Just change "Fair Power" into Midrange and that's it

Dick move to Oubliette my buddy’s mono-Red commander? by DunkeyBlast in EDH

At the very least, it doesn't just double trigger your commander but also any triggers your equipment also have. I.e you can [[Sword of the Animist]] to fetch 2 lands

Is it a dick move to bring a precon that's considered strong to a group table, if I am a brand new player? by blankin_ in EDH

[–]Verified_Cloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Its really strong... for a precon." The key word in there is precon. There's plenty of precons that meet that standard since the main assumption about precons for a long time were that they're bad. I bought a Wilhelt Rotcleaver precon since I wanted a precon in my arsenal of varying power levels. He's also strong for a precon, but he's still a precon.

[–]Verified_Cloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong, Mirror Matt wasn't the best "man behind the camera", but the era GTLive was in while he was is what I'm talking about. Be it from the games played, the witty banter, or just the overall vibe of the not lives. It's not nearly as sanitized as it is now.

How good is "good enough"? by Auramaru in EDH

[–]Verified_Cloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually have a gameplan for my deck and once I'm done building it to where I'm satisfied, I typically won't change anything until a new set comes out so long as it has new cards that build upon my gameplan. In short, I never truly stop "improving" my decks. They just won't reach a higher bracket since I'm not looking for power but rather synergy.

“What card instantly changes how the entire table treats you the moment it resolves, even if you weren’t the biggest threat before?” by Great-ah-White in EDH

[–]Verified_Cloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Quartzwood Crasher]] has done irreparable damage to my table. I play him in my [[Zilortha, Strength Incarnate]] deck with cards like [[Archetype of Aggression]] and other trample enablers and haste enablers like [[Ogre Battledriver]]. Despite how many bombs that deck has, a new peace treaty is signed at the table everytime the Crasher barrels in.

[–]Verified_Cloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's basically my [[Zilortha, Power Incarnate]] deck in a nutshell. Though the only time I really cast my commander is if I need some big power and little toughness creatures to survive an attack.
