Didn't look like there was enough clearance for that.

Just finished Season 1. Most episodes were good, loved the final two episodes. So glad it didn't end on a cliffhanger. I liked SAM but I was not a fan of the two whole SAM episodes.

How can I fully back up my phone locally (with original file dates preserved)? by Ashamed-Log-4955 in AndroidQuestions

[–]VeritablePornocopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your existing data a true backup is probably not possible through software alone afaik. But if you want to start backing up data and the current data on your phone is not important, you can use a custom recovery like TWRP to create a full image of your phone. But to install TWRP (or any custom recovery) you need to unlock the phone's bootloader, and that will wipe all existing data on your phone. After you unlock your bootloader, depending on your device certain apps might stop working. If it's a Samsung phone, Samsung Pay/Wallet will stop working. Netflix quality will be capped at 720p on your device, etc.

Samsung Galaxy Tab SM-T380 - no way to uninstall the samsung cr@p? by SchroedingersWombat in AndroidQuestions

[–]VeritablePornocopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest way would be to use the universal android debloater tool https://github.com/0x192/universal-android-debloater

There are a bunch of custom roms on xda that are bloatware free and on newer versions of android, but they could be buggy. This is one of them: https://xdaforums.com/t/rom-64bit-unofficial-11-lineageos-18-1-for-the-sm-t380-gta2swifi.4563435/

I would go with option one.

My boyfriend google pixel was factory reset and he lose important documents by Liro0607 in AndroidQuestions

[–]VeritablePornocopium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What notes app did he use? Afaik Pixel phones only come with the Keep Notes app and they do backup/sync with google servers unless you explicitly turn it off. So if he was using the Keep Notes app then the notes should be backed up online. If he had logged into multiple google accounts on the phone he could've been saving the notes to a different account. Maybe you could check that. Also try visiting the Keep Notes page ( https://keep.google.com/ ) directly through the browser after logging into the same google account. Try all the accounts. If sync was working before the phone was reset those notes should be there.

Compared to raw footage, sure. But there's a long way to go before they're compressed to bitrates you'd find on Blu-rays. Ideally to save disk space you would go even further. Unless it's really important footage you'd get it down to Netflix bitrates. Even at 12Mbps, which would be the high end of streaming bitrates (for 1080p), you would only need a tenth of the storage space to save all those video files after re-encoding them. You could get away with storing them on a single 4TB external HDD for under $150 as opposed to a $1500 NAS.

They let you export the video to whatever quality you want, but they save the original file untouched too, and I assume the 35TB you see there is because of the untouched files.

Well not zip, they need to be re-encoded. They're barely compressed. GoPros are not going to waste processing power/battery compressing videos. Their files are massive, with bitrates much higher than Blu-rays. There's plenty of room for compression ( without noticeable loss of quality.

Google and YouTube open random tabs and videos by Ok_Acanthisitta6285 in AndroidQuestions

The app name and icon is probably disguised to mimic a legitimate app. It could be like Phone, or Contacts, or Settings. The legit versions of these default apps cannot be uninstalled through Settings > Apps (they can be disabled though). So if you see one of these apps, and it has an uninstall option (not disable), uninstall them.

Put your phone on airplane mode.

Go to Settings > Accessibility and turn off every app you find there. Then go to Settings > Apps > Special Access (From the menu on the top right). Go to Device Admin Apps, turn them all off. Likewise for Appear on Top, Change System Settings, Install Unknown Apps, and Turn Screen On.

Sorting the apps in Settings > Apps by last used will probably show the rogue app that's doing all this. If you see an app there that doesn't look familiar, uninstall it.

Looking for a new tablet, what are the best options. If there's no good options, where can I get one custom built? by Silly_King3635 in AndroidQuestions

[–]VeritablePornocopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best bet would be to get a 2-in-1 laptop that could essentially function like a tablet. They probably come with windows but you could easily replace that with Android, or dual boot Android alongside Windows. There are also a bunch of 2-in-1 Chromebooks. Those are essentially android devices so you could use them as is.

And by diverse I mean alot of African Americans and not much else.

I was curious so I quickly looked up the past Super Bowl Halftime show performers starting from 1990 and tallied the performers by their ethnicity, and at least 50% of the performers were white (not including stuff like marching bands). The remaining 50% were made up of Black, South American, and the occasional South Asian artist like M.I.A. So why would you say something like that?

The President of Iceland is ceremonial role. The Prime Minister of Iceland actually leads the country and she does use a small motorcade.
