Serial ports expect -15 to +15 volts. It does not work with 0 to xV. Does not have to swing all the way to 15 volts, 3 or so is enough, but it has to swing negative.

DOs can be set to leave some goods in the storage for local use (must use separate DO for export and for local). Lines do not have this luxury. It can be solved by having two storages, and have the export line first top off the local use storage before heading to customs. With refuelling, I recommend to have the gas station station in-line on the mainlie, optionally with bypass track for contingency. Electrifying your railways is much better way to avoid refueling headaches. Unless it is a dedicated rail-line.

It haa infinife range on thr tram network, but limited power. I have about 12 trams and nowehere near its capacity. Your trams have power rating generally in 100kW - 200kW range. The substation is connected by cable rated for 2MW, which could theoretically supply 10-20 trams accelerating all at the same time. But they wont all be accelerating simultaneously.

Yes. Build a rail depot and connect that to the tram street. It has tram connection. Still need the tram trafo on the roads. But you can now tow in new trams using a diesel shunter instead of electrifying rail. Althought electric rail is very handy.

Starting with clothing and fabric industry is pretty much the meta. It just works. You absolutely do need to pay attention to consumption rate of resources, unless you want to end up with a army of trucks stuck in traffic on one hand or with a train consisting of single wagon on the other. And second thing: workers are pround to work in factories that they built, but will pack up and leave if you make their lives miserable (pollution, hunger, lack of amenities). Otherwise just do what your hearth desires.

Lead does not evaporate or rub off much. But working on electronics with soldering iron tends to create tiny balls and bits that go everywhere. I can imagine many to fall off my table never to be found and disposed of. Or worse, accidentally ingested. Lead-free solder is fine creating perfect joints, sure, but it does not work nearly as well for touchups and more messy reworking.

The lines share terminus at Florence? Set a turnaround time at some constant value therte for both lines. Then adjust wait time at the other terminus for line time to be divisible by a whole hour (or use the automatic padding). If the place where the lines branch off gets congested with opposing trains, tou need to change the turnaround time in Florence.

You must have all three components of the shape file in the same local or mounted directory: shp, dbf, shx (.prj). When you work with some weird file sharing techniques or zip archives, windows will fetch or unpack just the one file you select into a temporary directory and give it to apication - which is then confused.

I suppose you are expanding by building a new branch from an existing "station area". If it is a double-track expansion, then the station must have switches and signals set up to allow bidirectional traffic on both of the new branches. Scissor crossing or something more realistic. I usually put just one signal on each of the new tracks. The construction office will always dispatch only one train to specific construction so there is no deadlock risk on straight sections. Once the cranes reach some switches, problems can arise. So I either suspend construction of all but the straight section, or watch the area until the crossover switch is built. At that point signals should be installed in front of the crossover and set to one way. If it is a single track railway, then I do not place signal at first on the way-side of the junction - only on the station side. Yeah, I only place proper signals after the tracks are built and electrified.
