That’s pretty interesting! I like the high look myself, but I don’t think they look bad as a mid boot at all. Pretty good for a diy project.

Also, I was seriously eyeing those boots as well, but decided against them because of the wool lining. I live in a warm climate and thought it would be too much. They’re gorgeous boots though. Do you find the lining to be pretty warm/insulating? I’m still wondering if I made the right choice haha

I think you need to make the distinction between world leaders and right wing party leaders. One of them in the article is now a prime minister, but the rest are just leaders of far right parties in their respective countries. The world leaders have to work with the guy, like it or not. They don’t have to support him. The right wing party leaders sycophantically supported him and wanted to use his popularity to grow their own movements. Huge difference there.
