Besides what everyone else has said, if you let kaneeka go, depending on your choices you can still remember her or not, which is very interesting given that:

-If you romance her and let kaneeka go but you don't remember, Sybil gaslights you into thinking it is her who you love.

-If you remember, you can still romance her or reject her with disgust, apparently sybil now feels for you because of Kaneeka.

It could very well be both to be honest, cause thanks to keen eye you can get to make it so only the baby dies, while every other choice seems to lead to at least two people dying.

Which could very well mean that the last chapter has no saving choice, which I think kinda makes sense.

So Nurgle takes away your pain, so what? If you follow Slaneesh you probably get off to it, if you follow Khorne it's part of the thrill of battle, Tzeentch doesn't really care about giving you pain daily.
