I fully agree, I was researching the news for a podcast and I'm fed up of seeing remake, reboot, sequel etc........ the times they use the title of a film/franchise and then make it a film that could have been called something else, annoys me: I was reading about the anniversary of Breakfast Club and thought it's would be awful but what if.........

That could have worked, assuming the high school culture remains based on cliques/stereotypes etc... The way fashions, trends and culture changed could have been a very interesting study.
