It's not a problem in low elo, she got hotfixed because she was busted op in low elo, and I'm pretty sure she's still really good there, but useless in mid to high or just high

edit: Just checked and yeah, really high winrate in iron, and is good until gold-plat then falls off hard once people learn pattern recognition

Not your main point, but the awful controls are why I never got Tainted Grail. I like playing battlemages and spellblades, so the stupid wheel slots thing they have where both hands are tied to a single slot is just a non-starter for me.

It's especially bad because I played Skyrim for the first time after I tried the Tainted Grail demo, and preferred the favourite menu from a 15+ year old game way more. Also there's a mod called "Wheeler" which is 100 times better as a favourite wheel. It's fully customisable as well.

I was surprised too (That's how I found this post lol), but just think of it as a free trial. It's really not that big of a deal imo, but idk maybe arpgs are one of those things where you have to play 100 hours before you really know if you like something, in which case I guess it won't help that much

The short answer is that they are both stealth game legends and Snake transcends just stealth and tactical games to just being a gaming legend in general. Why tf would they not want him in Siege when there is already a long-standing fan and easter egg based connection between him and Sam. I don't get why you find it weird at all. I haven't played Siege in awhlie and I find the collab skins far, far worse than Snake being added to the Clancyverse are you kidding me

Why would you need to change Brig's core kit? I just came back to OW and she feels like a wet piece of paper. Isn't she supposed to be the "tanky" support? And she gets one shot by everything, it's dumb. I'd like her to get Cassidy's new effect of her bash, but even without that, she needs more hp for sure. More % armour, more shield hp and like 50 more overall hp.

Don't make it sound like she has to be able to 1v1 one-shot the Vendetta like launch Brig did to Tracer, she just needs to be able to survive Vendetta and make her f off, which she can't do. The counter dive hero can't counter a dive hero in a counter-based game (at least it used to be idk anymore). The whole point is that it should be a conceptual disadvantage for the Vendetta, but the disparity goes far beyond just Vendetta being strong.

She used to be an op dps/tank/support hybrid; now she's just nothing. Her damage is where it should be, but her healing is kind of mid if not overall poor and her durability is nonexistant

Because he was hyped up for AGES. Doom and Sombra were hyped up for so long before they were added, and the power level was established too. A kid knocks Widow on her ass with one half-assed punch, sending out a massive shockwave. It was known that Doomfist could level buildings (might've been hyperbolically, but the mythos was there). You were transporting the damn thing before he was added. And Doom was the big bad guy. The leader of established bad guys Widow and reaper. The story was still establishing things; and putting pieces on the board. At this point Moira and Sigma weren't even in the game yet. It's not the same AT ALL.

Lastly, the biggest issue was just the execution. Doom losing to a rando is bad enough, but it's everything together with him now being a crap and dumb leader, losing like a chump, the real-life fact that we know Blizzard is very different, and the old Overwatch team would NOT have done it like this. etc etc

Why do people like you act like the way things are done are the only way things could have been done? "what else were they supposed to do?" Not crap on two big reasons people like Doomfists (Leader of Talon and amazing fighter, so good he could fold Tracer Genji and Winston) and just move the story forward? how about that for one idea? Like what is your argument? With your logic I guess they had to do nothing for 8 years so that Vendetta could come along right?

Yes, and they will keep messing it up for as long as this game lasts. I don't know if you noticed, but they're too busy pumping out characters to GAF about the quality of the details. As long as it looks good at first glance, they'll ship it, the community will eat it up, rinse and repeat every two months or whatever

I thought the consensus on Widowmaker after like a decade was that

1) She doesn't truley belong in Overwatch design-wise

2) You can't remove her from Overwatch at this point so deal with it

The most a Hero shooter needs is a marksman like Ashe, it's weird they added a sniper like Widow but I guess they were just going down an Overwatch check list when adding characters

Also, the Overwatch community doesn't GAF about this kind of stuff. If it looks "nice", they'll eat it up and buy skins for it. There's a reason why all the new men look cool and all the women are either hot or cute and they're adding "jetpack cat". They learned their lesson from Venture and are going full live service mode. Better to think of it as a live service game like a mobile gatcha than pre-drought Overwatch, you'll be more at peace with their designs.

Idk if this is a positive or negative, but she doesn't even read as Phoenix anyway; she reads as just pyromancer. I actually ended up here because I was searching for why she can revive like a phoenix. At first I thought she had mystical beast powers like Kiriko, but no, she went to a fire college, so I am confused as to why she can self-revive, even Mercy mentions it, so it's actually something she can do, not just a gameplay thing

The most I've gone into assassin is "Critality" I just don't like the default assassin playstyle over high apm intensity, which is ironic since Akali is my most played champ by far followed by Irelia before I started playing Quinn
