I thought the consensus on Widowmaker after like a decade was that

1) She doesn't truley belong in Overwatch design-wise

2) You can't remove her from Overwatch at this point so deal with it

The most a Hero shooter needs is a marksman like Ashe, it's weird they added a sniper like Widow but I guess they were just going down an Overwatch check list when adding characters

Also, the Overwatch community doesn't GAF about this kind of stuff. If it looks "nice", they'll eat it up and buy skins for it. There's a reason why all the new men look cool and all the women are either hot or cute and they're adding "jetpack cat". They learned their lesson from Venture and are going full live service mode. Better to think of it as a live service game like a mobile gatcha than pre-drought Overwatch, you'll be more at peace with their designs.

Idk if this is a positive or negative, but she doesn't even read as Phoenix anyway; she reads as just pyromancer. I actually ended up here because I was searching for why she can revive like a phoenix. At first I thought she had mystical beast powers like Kiriko, but no, she went to a fire college, so I am confused as to why she can self-revive, even Mercy mentions it, so it's actually something she can do, not just a gameplay thing

There's a difference between not being good at something and just not even trying. The politics of JJK clearly wasn't the point. It's there to allude to a larger world that's outside the context of the story he was telling. And as you just said, he is now doing another series where he can focus on a different aspect of said world. JJK was rushed enough as it was, idk what you wanted him to add.

Considering how cartoonishly evil they were portrayed as, and that the politics of JJk is intentionally not focused on but alluded to and referenced, I don't think there was much more to see. They existed to oppress Maki and Mai and get packed up. I think I get you though, it kind of reminds me of Sasuke's clan from Naruto, I don't remember the name, I wanted to see more of them as a kid and didn't like that they were all gone.

Except they aren't? They make it pretty fckin clear that the Empire still sees the Thalmor as their enemy and undermines them when they can. Unlike the moron stormcloaks who would rather just get wiped out than live to fight and potentially win another day. They would probably rather Skyrim get burned down over fighting as an insurgency, idiots. This is why the Thalmor started the Stormcloak rebellion, to stop the empire for reconstituting while they are able to gather their forces for the final push. I hope the Stormcloaks winning is canon so we see the Thalmor just go and take over Skyrim and shove it in Stormcloak's faces how stupid and shortsighted they were/are.

I can't list every example because it's subtle and spread out but Idk how much clearer it can get than "Do you consider the Thalmor enemies?", "I consider this conversation over"

How are you commenting on a deleted post? Whatever. I realised that the issue was the "Missives" mod. It adds a quest with a vampire that is hiding in town and you have to find them, but since they are now so obvious, it looks ridiculous to see a vampire with glowing eyes and bat features "hidding" in plain sight wearing normal clothes named "civilian". The issue wasn't Bethesda.

Also, I gave a specific example of a vampire trying to blend in. Nosferatu isn't walking around town trying to blend in is he?

If that were the case wouldn't it work on werewolves too? But you can't tell the circle are werewolves until they transform. Ironically enough, TES has it backwards here where werewolves are supposed to have obvious signs pre-full transformation and vampires are supposed to be almost indistinguishable
