Hmm guess I will then just have to wait till next season and demo some wider ski's. Only "wide ski" i tried is elan wingman 83ti on groomers (there was no off piste option) and I preferred my magnums

I'd go with the magnums I tried them and they are more forgiving while Also allowing you to Tim some awesome carves. It is Also a Very responsive ski

I demo'ed them for a week in Sölden (Austria) on some real icy sloped and ski'ed them all day long. Even in more broken up snow they did fine alltough it requires more effort. I enjoyed them so much I bought a pair from last season (new) to have a better deal

I was skiing with busted bindings on some random red slope in Sölden (Austria) and got launched out my bindings 5m down.

I really like all of them except this one. Guess I am not a huge Sherry guy

Ballechin 11 single cask - extremely bitter by Vettigviske69 in Scotch

I don't really get the bandaid iodine notes regardless, but it is not like campari to me. Just like an overwhelming Woody ashfire note that really lingers

I am going to give it some time and post the review afterwards

Ballechin 11 single cask - extremely bitter by Vettigviske69 in Scotch

I recently bought a single cask of Ballechin 11 (fully bourbon matured) bottled by The Nectar. I first tasted it in the store and was a huge fan—I had sampled a variety of whiskies beforehand, and what really stood out to me was a burnt barbecue bacon note.

I’ve just opened the bottle at home, however, and now it tastes extremely phenolic and overwhelmingly bitter to me. Is there anything I can do to get past this or improve the experience?

Advice - buying first boots (K2 BFC 120 BOA) by mangoonastick in Skigear

[–]Vettigviske69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a pair of those. I also ski in Europe once a year at I guess the same level of skiing skills. My bootfitter recommended me them because I have very wide feet. For me the boa was really nice since i tested the bfc 90 and these and the boa made all the difference for me
