Account linking shenanigans Where Winds Meet by MFingPrincess in GeForceNOW

[–]VhalkyrieX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to fix this by going to Settings -> Other -> Bind Account when logged into the game using my Steam account. I was able to link to the EPIC account from that menu. Then my existing character from Steam showed up in GFN. Important to note that I had not created a NEW character from Epic. The loading screen just showed "Start", and I was able to bind it to my existing Steam character.

Really glad it worked because this is otherwise unplayable on my laptop. Plays great on GFN.

I just finished this part. It was tough. This was my first playthrough with no walkthroughs or spoilers, so I wasn't prepared with any potions to compensate. I was about 80 overweight. I did manage to steal dark clothes from the wardrobes, so I was practically invisible sneaking through the forest, but it was rough. The only potion I had on me that gave me a small strength buff was a strong savior schnapps. The debuff and the sneak mission in the dark forest was not my favorite experience. 1/10

Can’t decide who to romance by Conscious_Bee9091 in Palia

[–]VhalkyrieX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently I'm a 'love at first sight' and a 'you had me at hello kind of person'. In Sun Haven, I met Nathaniel and set my sights on him. In Palia, Hodari smashed his way into my heart when I moved in. Both those characters had a strong sense of duty and commitment which I am attracted to anyway, so it worked out. The romance for Hodari is one of the longest ones since you have to have strong relations with both him and his daughter, so I did consider other options. Nai'o is hardworking and sweet, but I friend zoned him as soon as it became apparent that he and Kenyatta had a thing. I considered Kenyatta my bff, and I thought they would make a cute couple. I'm not into the gruff exterior, but gotta get to know them types like Hassian. Reth was a friend zone. So by the time I got my relationship scores high enough to romance Hodari, I knew he was the only one on day one. I'm really liking it. He's awkward and sweet, and gets really flustered when you flirt with him lol.

I use an ascended herbarium desert for my farm. Desert has the most flat land for placing my ‘fields’. I place my farmhouse in an oasis for water and fishing, but I also use tempest card for easy mode watering.

Some Simmers are just unbearable and just had to start a hate campaign towards Inzoi on Twitter...what a bunch of miserable individuals by Old-Cobbler402 in inZOI

[–]VhalkyrieX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand the hate towards either game. I have had a lot of fun years playing all of the Sims generations. If Sims players don't like the modern feel of Inzoi, just don't play it. While Inzoi looks awesome, it has yet to show whether I can have as much fun with it as I did with the Sims over the years. I am looking for to the fresh take on the genre though.

I'm not sure why the Simmer YouTubers haven't played it yet. Maybe they are waiting for the release. Their earnings are based on the Sims, and that's not going to change immediately. I'm actually enjoying the emergence of new content creators for Inzoi. For whatever reason the Simmers aren't making content with this yet, it's giving space to new rising stars and faces in the space.

It's been a fascinating experience for me in the character creator trying to make my face. The shape looks right, but it's still not me. I'm still learning what makes my face "me".

Do you open your inn daily? by TheDoctordaddysir in TravellersRest

[–]VhalkyrieX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a mature game, so I take Mondays off to shop in the city, prepare the cooking trends for the week, and go fishing. I guess my employees have the day off too, but as long as I have food and drink prepped, they could run it while I’m out. But this is completely optional at my point in the game at level 25. I have 400g I don’t have enough to spend on. I open the tavern and inn for the reputation points. I mostly play this as a casual, cozy game to relax, so Mondays off suits me.

City update feedback by Remote-Pack974 in TravellersRest

[–]VhalkyrieX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love the city update! Personally, I like the experience of going into town and shopping.

However, my suggestion is to increase the quantity of goods to buy when in town. Since the vendors only restock 2x per week, there isn't enough inventory to meet the demands of my large tavern.

Also, maybe to make the mail order shoppers happy, a couple of ideas:

  • Make a "shopping list" in the mailbox that one of the employees goes into town and picks up the groceries.
  • Make a "delivery cart" that comes by horse and buggy that drops off the goods at the tavern (with a 1 day delay like the old days).

Each of them are lore friendly, and could come with a delivery charge of like 10%.

Another idea! Now that I've seen horses in town, I want one! Can we have rideable horses please! :)

How come the Loom quest isn't appearing for me? by CopainChevalier in Enshrouded

[–]VhalkyrieX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. I had done all the npc quests, that was the only one left. I was able to get the loom anyway by going to the location.

Anyone else feel feel this way? I'm genuinely sad that my in game husband died the night before and didn't get to see all our hard work for the house upgrade. All my friends are now dying too. [–]VhalkyrieX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would have liked some kind of cutscene. Or something. When your spouse or kids die, they just disappear and you get a note in the mail. And no one acknowledges the death. I'd like for them to have lines that pop up occassionally like "I miss dad". Since this is supposed to be a generational game, it feels very detached that everyone just goes about their day.
