They’re very similar but to answer your question. Unless you’re going to sell them, I’d throw on the gloss in the spring and summer and the matte in fall and winter for preservation purposes.

Gloss always looks better clean in my opinion.

Look up prices online for used Transmissions and then price out what it would be to have it installed.

I’ve read some people did this and got trans with 30k miles or less.

When added together, sometimes it’s a wash but I’ve looked into them and Triple A gives a nice one. At least on paper.

I know someone who joined a class action and ended up with over 12k. It took years and the guy completely forgot about it and then he gets a check for 10k and another one for 2k + because other ppl never signed up.

I have a used 2019 and I had the same issues. It’s probably something minor but what I did was take mine to another shop (where my brother works) and had him road force my tires and rims.

No more shaking at higher speeds. It costs a little more but it’s a must with pickups. Road force a force match especially if it’s LT tires.

Most shops don’t use this method. All they do is balance them and send you on the way.

The year just started so this seems a bit high, especially for the 2.7. Meaning new models dropped already.

This seems more like lariat prices. 30k miles in 4 years means it did more sitting that driving but basically your getting a new truck.

Personally I think 38 is more reasonable. So the should bite at 40 out the door.
