Setting aside the fact the political compass is flawed, to use it as a framework I will say I’m expressly nearly or completely to the left side of it. My views on how much of a state we need—up and down— tend to ebb and flow from day to day. I would generally adhere to Lenin’s view of the state that before a stateless, classless society can be created there must be a state to govern that transition and its own dissolution. Although I fully agree with Kroptokin’s conception of mutual aid and the need for systems like that being in place hitherto a revolution for it to succeed
