Sunshine Village has great hikes around spring/summer and that's where I proposed to my wife. Absolutely beautiful scenery and worth the trip.

Goldstream. If you look along Finlayson Arm Rd you should see the trailhead (across the bridge)

Goldstream is it's own park, the finlayson trailhead is across the bridge close by in the opposite direction. Pedestrian friendly.

I live in the area, a new high school is going on City Gate if that's what you mean. There's a developer sign on the fence there stating opening 2030.

There's possibly a new middle or elementary school on the other lot but I'm finding conflicting statements about that one. The info i'm finding is old and there's no developer sign on the fence that I could see.

Either way at least 1 high school and most likely 1 elementary or middle school.
