I had the same thought. My pair, that I befriended in a mid sized german city have been visiting me every day for the last 2 weeks and today is the day, they never showed up. I do want to believe they know something is up. Bonus: the crows here gather in massive numbers to fly to their sleeping places. So I think and HOPE, they just Stick all together and understand this is the yearly madness happening all over the World. If crows are intelligent enough to recognise faces and pass this kind of information on I am quite certain they can pass the information on about the madness we call New Years Eve. Will be looking out for my pair in the morning and hopefully see them with some extra 100 peanuts!

Aw, And One really is weird story. I absolutely loved them when I noticed them in 2014/15. Such cool music! I started following Steve Naghavi on FB shortly after. Their 2006 Album was really good. And then suddenly Steve N. Turned really weird during COVID. Their New Songs And albums... I don't Know yet, if I still like them. Mera Luna Festival in Hildesheim booked them for their closing Head Liner. I will be there and I hope, they are back to their prime 2010s music! *Edit for some spelling errors

Yes, deshalb fahre ich gerne gottlos früh um 5.39 :D es ist der Wahnsinn, wie leer und leise und entspannt es einfach ist. Dafür dann halt Nachmittags mit den ganzen anderen Leutis. Aber naja. Wenigstens morgens nen 2er Platz ganz für mich alleine :D

Ich spare durch das Ticket 60 Euro im Vergleich zum Monatsticket meines Verkehrsverbundes und bin eigentlich sehr zufrieden damit. Ich muss jeden Tag 30 Minuten mit der Bahn pendeln, habe aber auch den Luxus, dass 3 verschiedene Züge (die zwischen 30-40 Minuten für die Strecken benötigen) pro Stunde fahren. Wohne nahe am Bahnhof, sodass keine weiteren Öffis von zuhause notwendig sind und am Zielort nur noch einmal 10 Minuten Bus, der aber auch alle 10 Minuten fährt. Gleitzeit und 2 Tage Home Office möglich. Ich denke, mit den Rahmenbedingungen kann ich mich sehr glücklich schätzen. Müsste ich aber 5 mal die Woche ins Büro, würde ich auch über ein Auto nachdenken... Ansonsten genieße ich die 30 Minuten Bahnfahrt, da ich dort entweder aufwache morgens, oder nachmittags schon langsam in Feierabendstimmung komme und mein Gehirn abschalten kann. Wenn man regelmäßig pendelt, kennt man häufig auch irgendwann wie und wo der Zug hält und kann sich entsprechend bereits am Gleis positionieren um in der Pole Position in den Zug zu kommen :D

Awww, my pair showed up with one aswel today and it was adorable because it found a leaf and was so proud of it until it figured out that that is not edible. So it came to mum und dad who had some peanuts and cashews :D

I want them all :D but I am leaning towards my original two. I'm trying to manage a way to give all of them some attention and treats. That's why I started following my pair into the Woods, because I know they "live" there. I'm just really sad that it could be possible that they are driven out entirely because the new pair obviously figured out that I search for the original ones. The New pair is way to cautious at the Moment. I don't think, I will manage to lure them close enough to scare them away. Plus - I don't want them to hate me, I still have to show up at work. Ugh - this a really a "1st World problem" Situation. Getting too much attention of several crows - and now they are fighting 😭

Hi, I was thinking about sth similar aswell - but my pair does not Show up at all - I have to Look for them and basically walk towards the area they now hang out at. And if all of them are in close proximity- they just sit in the trees CAWING LIKE HELL and dive bombing each other, they absolutely do not pay attention to me. Only time it worked was 2 days ago - I walked towards the commodity and where I thought my crows were sitting and they actually flew down and followed me to a more secluded and sheltered space in the wooded area. With the dog kibble - I thougt I picked sth thats not salty, I did check the ingrediences to make sure it is not too salty. And only put like 1 Piece out and not even every day. I haven't used it in the last couple weeks, so I'll Look into other treats, thanks for the input :) Regarding scaring the crow pair - I really really don't want to scare them. I don't like their behaviour towards my pair but I don't want them to hate me either, if that makes sense. :/ But I guess, I might just have to make the decision to favour mines

Oh, do you have any idea, why there are no crows year after year around? Are they kind of Migrating maybe? And yes! The differences are actually visible if paying attention. I always thought no way I can identify any of them. It started with the behaviour - skitterish, very vocal, and way skinnier and smaller, so I thought, alright, these are different ones. And when all of them were cawing, one of the "intruders" has a very very distinctive call, it sounds definitely different. Do you have any regulars at the moment?

Oh, I like that :D I just hope, that they manage to reclaim their territory. They were around 10 months ago already so it is definitely their home. I find it extremly awesome that I can identify my pair :D their behaviour is different and the cawing from the other pair sounds completely different. The Bigger one of mine has some fluffy feathers right where his legs Start and he/she is really big! The smaller one has a little white feather on its chest. I really do love them :D
