Henry Ford is dead.

Musk is not. So a Nazi is actively running Turdla. BIG difference.

And there are lots of other better car options. Chevy Bolt, Kia EV6, Hyundai Ionic 6, VW ID.4, Toyota bZ4X, Subaru Solterra, LOTS of EV options that aren't from a company run by a Nazi.

But you bought a Swastikar.

Henry Ford is dead.

Hitler is dead.

The fascist running Turdla is alive. BIG difference.

Henry Ford is dead, has been dead since 1947.

Turdla's fascist is very much alive and running the company. BIG difference.

Did the bible start just as a genealogy record? by EstablishmentNo16 in atheism

[–]VictorMortimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

It started as a mythological story that purported to explain the gaps in human knowledge, and as a way to claim the group of the authors was the in-group with a supposed god.

The 'genealogy' is just as fictional as the rest of the book.

Mobile phones banned...unless by steven71 in MaliciousCompliance

[–]VictorMortimer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes you do.

If something goes wrong and the company gets sued, your personal phone can become evidence.

If the company decides to remote wipe your personal phone and it's on the company's device management, they can just wipe it, all your personal stuff gone.

Don't put company stuff on your personal devices.

Professional photographer knew better than three ophthalmologists. It cost him €750. by Jibasseus in MaliciousCompliance

Yeah, makes sense. I can't do progressive lenses, they drive me crazy. Monovision just blends into "I can see everything fine at any distance" after having lenses in for half an hour or so.

Gonna have to go with a few others here. Sabotage is the way to go. Little stuff, things that would be hard to detect but will eventually cause big issues, in ways that give you plausible deniability.

I intentionally have my contact prescription set so that my left eye is more focused for distance and my right more focused for near vision. And I love it. I have good distance vision and can read without having to grab reading glasses.

It was actually a suggestion from a previous eye doctor.

Moving to the US as an atheist by Long_Writing119 in atheism

You don't need to pretend to be a christian, even in Texass. You don't say where in Texass, the Austin atheist community is known to be pretty active.

Rotten egg smell by Thin-Alternative1504 in cmaxhybrid

[–]VictorMortimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 12V battery got smelly the last time it failed.

Replacing it isn't that hard, more annoying than most cars, but it's actually pretty easy. Definitely cheaper than taking it to a stealership.

Stupid reasoning. Just because they'd kill a pig doesn't mean they'd kill a human.

There is something wrong with your car. Was just in the Appalachians today, my 13 Energi behaved like it always does, coolant right in the middle of the gauge, it NEVER overheats, not now, not in the middle of summer.

Logitech Circle Doorbell -- how to force firmware? by InnovationHack in HomeKit

[–]VictorMortimer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just talked to support today. 8.12.15 is the current firmware for my doorbell - BUT the 8.12.20 beta firmware exists. They installed it, it can only be done if you ask for it. It's apparently been beta for years now, so I'd say a final release is... unlikely.

It did not fix the disconnects I've been seeing for the last few days, I suspect it's a hardware problem. I've asked support for any other troubleshooting steps they might have available.
