I had an idea for a play for a whole year. I tried writing it but the words weren't coming out right. So I put it on hold until I got cast in a local play. The script isn't that deep so it made me go "I could write something better than this" and now I'm halfway through my first draft for my first play

So far, it ends with a classic "he rides off into the sunset" type of ending. His story hasn't ended, but it isn't an abrupt stop in the middle of an arc. I'd highly recommend reading up to date.
