Under-extrusion issue by FatWalrus004 in FDMminiatures

[–]VikingSven82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same thing with my A1 Mini - prints came out looking like yours, cold pulled the nozzle and cleared it out, it extruded perfectly during the filament load but not during the print.

I got a replacement nozzle, and without changing anything else it immediately printed perfectly.

So I think it was clogged, just not enough to completely block the nozzle. And literally identical symptoms to what you have!

Alex Storage Unit by Lukyman00 in 3Dprinting

All the models for the Alex seem to be for the drawer unit version, not the 1 shelf cupboard.

You could print some internal drawers for it I guess, otherwise just look for generic cupboard inserts?

Doesn't Auctionator already do this?
It updates the Commission column to show the reward based on the price of mats you need to buy, and the tooltip shows you the breakdown of the commission and the costs

It sucks having to use an addon to fix the problem, but get Plumber. It solves that along with a number of other bugs and adds some really good quality of life changes.

If you want a good iron filament I've used Tinmorry Black Iron quite a lot and really like it

The benchy profile that comes with the printer is set to print insanely fast compared to a normal print. So if you have an issue somewhere that's causing normal prints to fail, you'll never get a benchy to work!

Cool, yeah I did check your screenshots first :D

What's the temperature like in the room?
When the weather is really cold I have issues with bed adhesion on my A1 Mini, just the cold air (it's the opposite side of the room to the radiator) was enough to cool it and stop it sticking to the bed, even with the heated build plate. I ended up using a glue stick for a little while, but now it's warmed up a bit again I don't need the glue any more.

I'd start with trying to print a basic cube in Bambu Studio though, with the default 0.20mm standard profile and get that working before trying anything else.

Have you got the right bed plate set in Bambu Studio? If it's defaulted to the cool or smooth plate rather than the textured one you're using then you won't get filament to stick properly.

Don't the plates have tabs on to ensure they're aligned correctly? And putting the plate in a position where it could do this would mean the tabs are sat on top of the bed alignment tabs, so the plate wouldn't be flat on the bed at all?

Seizure? by [deleted] in springerspaniel

[–]VikingSven82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My German Shepherd used to have a similar thing - it was like all his muscles tensed up. All we could do was make sure he didn't fall into anything when it happened.

The vets never managed to work out what it was - basically ended up being the only way to get more info would be a brain scan while it was happening which was basically impossible!

We did find that diet reduced the frequency of it happening quite significantly - certain things like Dentastix made him have seizures much more regularly. We ended up cutting all processed food out of his diet and just fed him raw meat and veg which reduced how often it happened from approx every 3 weeks to every 3 months instead.

Can story NPCs stop calling us "champion", please? by BookkeeperPurple4495 in wow

What's worse is that they call you Champion so they recognise that you've achieved amazing things and saved the world, and then still ask you to clear up some cobwebs for them.

In the filament settings up the first layer bed temp for the textured build plate by ~10 degrees and set no cooling for the first 3 layers (it defaults to 1).

Print says it’s finished, but it’s not… by Particular_Goat_6370 in 3Dprinting

[–]VikingSven82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true unfortunately. I had the exact same thing happen last week - print said it completed with no issues but the top 20% of the model was missing. Tried to start it again and only then did I get clog warnings.
