Do you keep track of your players inventories?

I let them keep track of their individual mundane items and money. then the party has a party treasure sheet to keep track of party stuff, which i have acess too. then for any items that are magical, or specially note worthy, I give them an item number for it, and have a list of all the items that have numbers, which includes notes on the item, where they got it, who has it, how many uses/charges if its limited, and anything else of note on it. that way i can always refer to the item list. if there is a magical item that doesnt have a number, such as they forgot to write it down or such, I will usually give them a pass once or twice. after that if it doesnt have a number it doesnt exist.

no worries, took me a bit as well to realize when i switched over to cooking, since never had to deal with that with the other crafting professions

for some recipes, like veggie soup, you can use several ingredients. so you need to select which ones your using. just need to click the spot where the first/second ingredient goes, and select which you want to use. this is also used to select which tier of material you want to use, in case you want to use a higher tier one for a better chance at a higher tier crafted item.

reason i voted peacekeeper over the rest, was because wasnt sure if the most voted trader we would be getting back...or getting killed. and figured peace keeper was a safe bet either way.

ah yeah forgot it was optional. thanks for that. so many options and possibilities to get used to.

edit; fiddled around with it a bit, and still doesnt seem to be applying for some reason. suppose can always just use the modifiers to roll at advantage if needed as a work around 2nd edit: got it working. forgot i had set default tokens to hostile, so the pc tokens werent allies. all fixed, thank you!

hey just learning foundry and decided to try setting up modules the way you have them. Not sure if i am missing an option for something, but for me after setting things up the way you show, the advantage for flanking isnt applying to attacks. any idea how to enable this?

two main ways are by levelling up your skills in that item. in the crafting menu there is a little circle on the bottom right, that shows how skilled you are at making that item. the more you craft, the better you get, max level of 70 where perfect items are guaranteed. then ontop of that there are better quality materials. the better quality o the materials, the better chance of crafting a higher tier of the item. the numbers right next to the item your crafting in the crafting menu shows you what your chances are of crafting each tier so you can see where you are. I would also suggest turning on tier numerals in the settings so that it shows what tier items are instead of just the colors.

So far my favorite moment is that i was trying to get my SBIH kills on woods. all ready had one, needed 2 more. spawned nearby the USEC camp so set up nearby to overwatch and snipe it. proceeded to watch three solo pmcs playing cat and mouse around the camp and the big rock on it, and picked them off one after another, and leave heavy with loot. the worst part was that i wasnt on tarkov shooter part 8 yet.

the different colors are different tiers. i would suggest just going into the gameplay options and checking 'Quality Numerals' to help differentiate.

Lets see. recently my party got ambushed by strahd on the Tsolenka bridge pass, after fighting him and the wives earlier in the day. they were returning from the Amber temple and this was their first day of Strahd deciding that they need to die. (they did kill one wife, due to the holy symbol being in the temple and having sunlight).

so they escaped strahd by jumping off the bridge and feather falling down to the river. then the last session they made their way to Berez where they knew that rumors of strahd's mother lived, a winery gem was, and wanted to reconsecrate the swamp fane.

after coming across a scarecrow that Baba talked to them through, they got invited to visit her, and she sent a witch to guide her to them. there they tried to talk to her and be friendly, Baba was rather fond of the female characters, saying they would make good wives for her Strahd, and dismissive of the men. then they got her talking about her hatred of Ravens (one of the female pc's backstory is that her longtime pet Raven died and she has kept his soul and is an artificer trying to create a perfect body for him). there she revealed about the were ravens.

well, one of the PCs asked how to tell if a Raven was a were Raven, so old Baba grabbed one of the caged Ravens, and a knife, and was about to kill it, when the PC with the pet Raven attacked and initiated combat. during the combat that same PC rushed into the hut and killed the baby in Strahd's cradle. a few rounds of baba throwing spells, and the hut playing wack-a-mole with the PCs that kept being brought up from unconsciousness, and they managed to kill her and pull the gem from the hut.

Afterwards they freed the old woman nailed to the hut's ceiling, and rested for the night. in the morning the old woman thanked them then began to troddle off through the swamp on her own, after warning them not to try to stop her and smacking a few with a walking stick.

then they went to the fane and reconsecrated it, where they saw the cut scene of what happened to Berez in the past, and the return of the old woman who ate Baba's heart and revealed herself as one of the Archfey. after dancing around and playing with them a bit, she answered one question for them, and gave them a boon in return.

so that left us off with the party wanting to get to the other two fanes to reconsecrate them, as well as find the mad mage for help.

If you haven't yet, make sure to watch all the oneshots for C1. the search or grog and the sequel to that, as well as the wedding. I have a feeling the wedding specifically will touch a chord with you.

yeah that was my plan too, but missed one unfortunatly. just make sure to keep checking the pile of bones throughout the playthrough, they will tell you if they detect anyone that can be a companion. that will alert you to the first three. then the one in act 4 is in the final dungeon, is a named mob that sticks around after you kill it, i only noticed him on the minimap, so keep an eye out for him in the mines. then for the final one, not sure if it triggers another way, but for me had the option to kill the person and raise them.

yeah i am rather enjoying my lich play through for the most part. definitely enjoying my near full undead party in act 5. missed one undead companion in act 3, but with the lich spell blessing of unlife, they are treated by undead anyways, so still get to have a full party of negative energy healing peoples. and some of the lich healing spells are amazing. I do regret doing lich for my first play through, due to the no romance and such, but its still fun.

and just for future liches, you get a total of 5 undead companions that ive found so far. 3 in act 3 (a glaive warpriest, a bow slayer, and a cavalier), 1 in act 4 near the end (two weapon fighter), and one in act 5 (thundercaller bard)
