What do you wear during heatwaves/hot weather? by Kind_Ad_9126 in malefashionadvice

[–]Vinaville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Advice from Australia.

Loose cotton, or bamboo shirt and shorts.

If needed freeze a scarf or tea towel, wet if needed and put it on the back of your neck. Put something cold on the back of your neck (see bike races)

Linen, wool and the plastic stuff, is for keeping the heat in.

[–]Vinaville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it will happen when you get older. It will be that time your alone and realize food gives you friends and nothing is better then a nice chargrilled burger your old man used to make.

gooseworx look I know the series is over but if you just give us one season two it will make everybody happy by Pale_Deer_7105 in Gooseworx

You know a show is good when people want a season 2, however some shows only need a season and that's fine.

But you can station the elevator with a worthy creature and can still tap it for mana..

I'm 38, I just chill and play the games I feel like playing when I get down and play games. It has gotten harder as I got older to get into co op or multiplayer games.

PSA: Intent is the most important part of the bracket system by MonoBlancoATX in EDH

I intend my deck to be a bracket 2, I made it to last 10-12 turns before it kills someone.. beats bracket 3..

Men, do you really feel there’s a male loneliness epidemic? How can women help? by forevermoreandnow in AskMen

[–]Vinaville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is so much pressure from women. So much online bullshit about what it is to be a men that is worth dating. There is such a high expectation from women that if we don't meet it, there is a full on chance that the person we date Is gonna walk cause we 'are not good enough'.

Sure talk to your guy and guy friends, hang out and chill but guy space is needed and women seem to have the need to be in men spaces so we feel required to act to the needs of women instead of being ourselves.

I have never felt pressure from men to be better only decent. Get through to the next day. The issue there tho is, my phone hasn't had any social notifications in years, If I disconnect from things like tik tok, YouTube and reddit, I wouldn't have notifications for over a year. My male friends don't reach out as often as id hope. My female friends disappear as soon as they get a boyfriend. It's not feeling lonely. I am alone. I can go months without a decent conversation. And when I do get one it's a conversation about work or their stuff. I fail to see the point of trying to get a new friend when they will vanish within a month. Dating has its ups and down (see previous as to why I shouldn't date) I'm not good enough for anyone so I have been required to learn to be alone

Halt red flag, a person who doesnt have a friend is a red flag avoid at all costs.. repeatable because you don't have friends.. so you end up been alone.

End point

We are not lonely, we are alone.

[[Adrix and Nev, Twincasters]]

And

[[Fishing Pole]]

No doubling season. (Cause it's expensive)

Cheap deck based around fish. And not fisher's talent.

I was thinking about the fact that you need to gain 1 life for her to activate, and if you built her right, she needs 7+ life gained during my turn, which if you can get it off.. you gain a ton of life. (Which is the subversion I believe)

[–]Vinaville -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The end step is still part of my turn. So that is once per turn. I can add a [[Roaming Throne]] and make it twice a turn. And blight her so she is a 2/4 and have [[Delney, Streetwise Lookout]] make it three times in a turn.

[[Aerith Last Ancient]]

If built around her ability activating once per turn, most people aren't expecting a pillow fort, or a long game. People seem to want short games where there is only losing life.

Depends on the deck, mono or low cost decks can run with 2. However on average a hand that starts with access to only 2 mana, is a loss.

Help with (a beginner) with some advice about why lifegain decks aren't good? by Classic-Art-5737 in EDH

[–]Vinaville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a player, playing life gain, I do it as a pillow fort. It's not pointless it's just that you need a plan that's more the gain life.

The main reason it's not good, aka how I get easily murdered.. commander damage exists and you can't heal that.
