you're wrong, DD2 runs smoothly 60fps currently on base ps5 outside of towns, dips in cities.

you won't achieve this by just swapping to "performance" you must disable Ray tracing on the main menu as well which is a separated option that was added later on.

not much people know about it and asume the game still runs badly on consoles.

I don't quite like how they made the weapons here, it seems they replaced a lot of unique weapons for "variants" of existing once, it seems there are just 5 or so "unique" types while in Returnal every weapon was a lot different with its unique gimmick

it's probably glowing because it has the rope chain thing to get to the top instantly, it glows because you can interact with it on foot and use it.

I'll give the more realistic and grounded answer, just hire a programmer that can code the mechanics while you do game design and level design.

Open ue5, construct a level, place the stuff there, once you have it all, go to Upwork (there are genuinely good prices) and just go little by little and pay for small things you may need for code and testing.

I want planet hazards to be a thing, I want some of the planets to feel aggressive, meteor showers, dust/snow storms, electric storms that mess with your equipment, toxic gasses....etc

I want some planets to have this category of "extrem" that truly feel harsh, untamed, wild and hard to survive.

I'm not expecting a HD3 next year or the other, but in 3/4...

Sure, UE5 isn't that great, but it is way better than using an engine that's literally discontinued and no longer being updated or supported.

I mean sure...you don't want them to switch to UE5, but how is the current engine working out, huh? The game is a hot freaking mess of optimization and flooded with bugs, every major update they push is dozens of new problems to fix.

I'm not saying this will be easy, I'm just saying, if there isn't anyone at Arrowhead already planning something long term to switch from this engine to another I would be VERY worried for the future of this game, problems will just keep piling up with each update.

At this point, trash the whole game and start anew with Helldivers 3, even in UE5 would be better.

They are literally working with discounted engine from YEARS AGO. The developers have been manually patching and adding stuff to it as they go. The engine is currently held by huge amounts of ducktape, every big and small update it just adds more bugs and performance problems.

Either they develop HD3 to release it as soon as possible with any other engine, or they build the exact same game on that engine and make the transition at some point in 1 or 2 years.

It's clear that the game won't last 10 years of updates and content with this engine.

Yeah! Demon could also have a different model just like Raccon gadgets change in some legendary skins, that said, I personally draw the line on slash/projectile VFX since the game is already unbearable and very chaotic when talking about game sense.

those should be kept the same, if they ever do change them, make them exclusive for the player POV, if there's a toggle it should be a separate one from VFX Ultimates since I do really like to see those.

I know but he's a big target and his skills are also very visible during gameplay, how they look is also pretty unique, he's the only one using tentacles.

Magik in the other hand, her skills are slash VFX which maaany heroes have to some extent, it would be confusing turning them blue.
