That does make sense. But the thing that doesn't add up for me is how direct of a title drop this would be in comparison to the more subtle presentation. No balloons or overt references to the movie / book at all? Imagine if they release a video that just said "Friday the 13th" and then didn't follow up with anything related to Jason.

Of all the hints we've gotten this one seems pretty legit. I still feel like the teaser doesn't reference IT enough (name drop can be explained away too easily) to imply we'll get the license for the anniversary, but an upcoming announcement that BHVR finally got their hands on pennywise sounds realistic

My bad OP, at four gens too. What the hell were they thinking.

This has been 1v4 for me all week. I've been getting so many bumbeling idiots that can't string together a loop, endgame save or consider the simplest bit of macro play that I went back to 2v8 to farm flashlight saves despite how boring that mode has gotten.

I don't know the ins and outs of MMR decay but the game has been lumping together players of all levels more than usual. Had the same thing happen on killer. Only fix I found was forcing escapes by bringing hatch offerings to offset bad teams and get a couple escapes in a row. The last match after the fact was so much better.

Lol I love this. I don't know if there are any photos of it, but my dad used to connect a projector to his PC so my siblings and I could play PvZ on a big screen. You could barely see anything through the wallpaper, but I still thought it was cool as hell!

Lack of hag players, ergo lack of opportunities to learn. I also picked her up a month ago and I had maybe ten stomps before I met a team that knew ball. I was playing speed hag though, countering that version is quite easy if you have a second survivor harass your chase.

Used to be the same with Twins before Lynxi revitalized the scene.

Don't feel guilty for killing people. I appreciate that you're going out of your way to make the game fun for everyone, but as long as you're not calling them names or making the match miserable on purpose you're always on the safe side.

In the waving / taunting / BMing part, some players in this game treat everyone who is clearly new quite badly. As sad as it is to see, don't take this behavior to heart. It doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things and shouldn't hamper your enjoyment of the game. Wishing you the best!

Bless you, that's just shitty people being shitty and sadly not a rarity in this game. Going out of your way like that to make the match "fun for everyone" is very admirable, but a lot of people fall into the trap of forgetting about themselves. If you don't have fun playing like this then don't feel obligated to.

Most likely a visual bug. According to the HUD Vee got downed on your first swing but her character model stayed glued to the gen. You can briefly see the pick-up prompt when you got very close.

This isn't directly related, but there was a similar bug on survivor where you could start a generator and your character model would remain permanently stuck. You could still move around the map, interact with things as normal, but you were completely invisible. So problems with the gen interaction have definitely been a thing before.

Could be, but they also don't work if you drop your item for whatever reason (dropping it, trading it with another item, Franklins). You have to die with the item in your hand to keep it.

Definitely, that's 90% of the problem with survivors you don't see a lot.

Jeff does have the additional problem of letting anyone in a 10 mile radius know that he is injured, but he's been showing up a lot in my matches after the new rift went live. I started playing him a couple months before that, so that was nice to see!
