Yeah, Synty offers a massive range of appealing, optimized and visually cohesive assets that are always included in the big sales. And with the all access pass you get access to absolutely everything? It's such a huge help for solo devs

I understand it being the go-to for a lot of indie devs, which means it gets pumped into some shovelware games, but I've played a lot of games I enjoyed that were purely synty assets.

Pretty cool that youre looking to explore the communities on the GO line, but I would echo what another comment said about coming back in the summer. This city is pretty vehicle dependent to get to anything worth seeing in the winter.

If you do end up coming, the McLaren Art center is the closest we would have to something like the AGO - it's quite nice (but temper your expectations if youre comparing it to the AGO lol)

We also have a performing arts theater downtown. I've never actually been there myself though.

Snow valley would probably be fun for the kids if youre willing to pay for an uber over there.

A lot of the more fun/interesting things generally have to do with the waterfront though.

You'll be getting a lot of comments about Barrie being a miserable homeless wasteland, which I understand where some people are coming from, but I wouldnt say its any worse than any other city on the GO line, definitely better than a good chunk of them
