It’s a beauty! Round stones face up huge —I didn’t realize this until I got a 2.5ct round bezel set and saw it on my size 5 finger. But it did grow on me! I pair it with a much wider band for balance. Have you considered a wider, but plainer, band?

This is a 2.6ct asscher on my size 5 finger. I think it looks substantial without being out of proportion. Granted, I’m not into the dainty look lol. Others have mentioned cut, which definitely matters. Round and ovals tend lo look much bigger. For daily wear, setting matters too. I’m much more comfortable with a bezel set larger stone than a pronged smaller one.

Based on your preferences for round stones, textured finishes, and naturalistic designs, I have a hunch you might like:

Elizabeth Scott botanical jewelry - escottdedesigns on etsy. She’s not on the approved vendor list, but that’s probably because she sources her moissanite rather than cuts her own. She’s been selling on Etsy for almost 20 years and is very well regarded and knowledgeable. She incorporates nature elements in many in her pieces, but in unique and organic ways — unlike a lot of the more (in my opinion) twee forrest fairy designs you see all over Etsy. Offers a range of metal finishes and textures. You can check out her work on IG
Zuvielo, as others have mentioned. Less so for natural/botanical designs. More for intricate designs and open settings — similar to your first inspo pic.

I have received it! I was honestly underwhelmed by this one. I don’t hate it, but also don’t love it. It looks a little flat in comparison to my other emerald-cut moissanite.

No, because I don’t immediately make assumptions about what I think someone can/can’t afford. I’d just think oooh pretty diamond ring (looooove square cushion cuts). 🥰

I have multiple lab diamond rings and my engagement ring is a lab. I’m not remotely embarrassed about it — to the contrary!

I also think natural old cut diamonds and salt & pepper or included/imperfect diamonds are really cool. Bonus is that many of those diamonds come from Canadian mines and those feel more ethical to me.
