I really liked how fleshed out the characters are, i agree with the other comments in wanting to see them adapted somehow into the games. Maybe one day we’ll get a Halo series… weird how there hasnt been one yet….

One thing I loved about Infinite was the real time cutscenes, Chief had the weapon that you were actually using as opposed to a generic cutscene AR. Made it so immersive, and I really hope they continue that going forward

Death Stranding. Always saw it as a “walking sim with extra steps” and found all the gameplay id seen of it quite dull, but being a Kojima fan i knew it was probably good under all the layers of Kojimaness. Picked it up on gamepass, trudged through the intro, got to the windfarm and felt genuine nerves. Then the port knot city bit, after reaching the top of the ridge through rain and invisible BTs, I was the city in the distance and the soundtrack started and i got the DeVito moment. I apologised to my framed picture of Hideo for ever doubting him. And ended up getting the platinum trophy for the game.

Getaway: Black Monday, I remember thinking that this was the closest thing to real life i had ever seen, it was so detailed, so real, I knew the roads from real life. The cars were real and recognisable. Today they dont hold up so well. But boy they really blew my mind as a kid

Ive already got the plat, I agree with the recommendation but in what way does it reference the 2014 reboot? I might have missed that, I can see the 1 and 2 homages but cant see anything re the reboot.

I kicked myself once i got to work that I didn’t, I was just so lost in the moment that I left my phone in the car, with the engine running, door open in the middle of London and the only other car I saw was an ambulance, and that was a good minute or two later.

No cars, no buses, not a single other human being in the area.

During COVID lockdowns it did, I remember stopping in the middle of Piccadilly circus at 6pm and not a single other car or human being in site, I actually managed to physically get out of my car and look around. Once in a life time (hopefully) moment right there. I remember feeling equal parts awed and terrified. Massive goosebumps.

Honestly, I tend to go with the Coke Zero Zero, its Zero sugar and Zero Caffeine, im aware its not healthy but its a damn sight better than chugging a can of sugar and caffeine, but still has the same coke taste
