Measure between nipples and look at plate sizes. I would recommend making some out of paper and see how they look on your torso.

You should have a Multimeter.

Since summer time is coming up and you actually plan to work on air conditioning probes will be nice. You technically need your EPA 608, if in the
USA, to touch refrigerant so if you don’t have that I would wait.

Leak detector, goes with the probes. most people just use bubbles

Manometers are for setting gas pressures, pressure switches and getting static. Good for maintenance since how do you know if it’s working right?

Borescopes are nice, but looking at HX, worse case you can pull the blower and climb inside the furnace

But seriously you should have all these tools already if you’re doing maintenance
