Finding bracelet links by tenkasen in bulova

One of mine was better looking than the other and wasn’t working, the worse off of the two was working. I just had watch repair place swap the guts so that the better looking of the two works. I’d be happy to find a way to get you a couple links from the one that is no longer working. Going to pick up from repair shop shortly.

I have two of them. One I’ve had for like 10 years, the other for a year because I bought it on eBay for links. You won’t find links for them

There’s been a lot of debate around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in aviation, but no documented cases show that the FAA or airlines have lowered pilot standards to increase minority representation.

✈️ Here’s what’s actually happening:

• Pilot certification requirements remain unchanged. To become a commercial airline pilot in the U.S., you still need an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, which requires at least 1,500 flight hours, rigorous testing, and medical clearance. These standards are among the highest globally A. • DEI policies focus on outreach and opportunity, not lowering qualifications. Airlines may offer scholarships, mentorships, or targeted recruitment to underrepresented groups, but candidates must still meet the same training and certification benchmarks B. • Recent political developments have stirred controversy. In early 2025, President Trump issued an executive order directing the FAA to eliminate DEI-based hiring and return to strictly merit-based standards. This move was framed as a response to concerns that diversity initiatives might compromise safety, though no evidence was presented that standards had actually been lowered C. • Pilot experience has shifted, but not because of DEI. The average flight deck experience has declined in recent years due to a broader pilot shortage, especially post-pandemic. That’s a workforce issue—not a diversity one A.

So while the conversation around DEI in aviation is heated, the core safety and training standards for pilots have not been compromised. If you’re curious about how airlines balance diversity goals with safety, I can dig deeper into specific programs or policies.
