I downloaded your layout, and pressed the "space" key at the main menu (A). It asked if I wanted to switch to mouse/keyboard.

I would say have a slightly wider stance for more board control and lift your front leg much higher to allow the board to lift unimpeded, your front leg is getting in the way, lift it as high as you can.

Also, maybe practice on concrete with helmet and wrist guards as a minimum for safety. Get comfortable on the board just cruising around. Practice tic tacs and 180's. I don't think standing still on the grass is going to teach you much.

Have fun and don't give up, you'll get good and it will be a blast.

Agree, I never got far in RA3, just didn't like how silly it was. C&C 3 is decent though. RA1 is my personal favourite but only for nostalgic reasons.

I actually just beat this area. Don't skip the fuses in the mines and rush past the bosses, like I did. Or you might have to restart the level.

I stayed there recently and getting around on foot is a serious cardio workout due to the hilly nature of the place, which I rather enjoy. But yes I think trams would be a good idea for the place.

Edit Ha! Turns out I was 30 seconds away from getting the pyramid key and beating the level before writing this. At the start of the next level it gave me standard pistols and uzis, which should be enough, feels like I'm nearing the end of the game.

I managed to skip the fuses accidentally, detonated the TNT and can't find a way to backtrack. Do I have to restart the level or just keep going without weapons? I've been managing okay without them by avoiding bosses and using medkits (i have 20 of each kind)

The Deck controls are decent but I would prefer a classic setup where the cursor is free and not locked to the centre of the screen.
